Stake.com Review

Stake.com Review

As usual, I have registered a new account at Stake.com, thoroughly examined the terms & conditions, made my first deposit, had several chats with the support team and finally requested a withdrawal. This Stake.com review is fully based on my personal experience.

✔️ Is Stake.com legit? (5/5)

This gambling website was developed by the Primedice team, which is a well-known crypto dice game. Primedice is one of the pioneers of the cryptocurrency gambling space, and I have no concerns that their sister site Stake.io is also legit.

The support agent has confirmed the legality of Stake.com, while I was not able to find any badge displaying the license information.

🎲 Games and providers (5/5)

Besides the usual slots, Stake.com offers multiple self-made games, such as Dice, Crash, Mines, Plinko etc. The list of the slot providers is huge and includes all the popular brands: NetEnt, Microgaming and Pragmatic, to name a few.

Live casino games are presented with Evolution and Pragmatic Play that are covering all the popular live dealer games possible.

This section gets the maximum points available, as the number of games is impressive.

🎰 Slots RTP (5/5)

You can find all the RTP’s listed for each game presented on the website. Here ‘Return to Player’ is displayed in a different way and it is called Edge. To know the RTP number you just need to deduct the Edge from 100%.

💰 Payment methods (2/5)

The payment methods section of Stake.com gets only two of the maximum five points possible. This casino has a pretty nice list of the accepted crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and others.

There is no minimum amount for the deposit

The problem here is with the withdrawal fees that will be deducted from your balance every time you decide to request a cash-out. Well, I totally understand that the transaction fees might sometimes become a bit huge, especially for the Bitcoin or Ethereum networks. But here is the screenshot of my Bitcoin deposit transaction worth 150 USD, which I was able to send with a 3.82 USD fee.

At the same time, Stake.com wants to take 7.99 USD from me to send the money back at the same date and time. It means that they do not even monitor the current network capacity and simply waste clients’ money on each withdrawal.

🚀 Welcome bonuses (0/5)

One of the biggest drawbacks of the Stake.com casino for new players is the lack of welcome bonuses. No match bonus or free spins here; you will get nothing after making the first deposit.

The closest bonus available can be received on the Bronze loyalty level. To reach this you need to place bets worth 10,000 USD.

So, if I would play a slot game with a 96% RTP, I would lose approximately 400 USD before hitting the level up.

The most annoying thing here is that it is impossible to know in advance what bonus is waiting for you on the Bronze level. I have zero motivation to check whether the prize is worth it or not.

I have played the slots for one hour, lost around 50 USD and wagered 1.21% of the amount needed to get to the Bronze level.

📢 Promotions (2/5)

While the list of the Stake.com casino promotions looks huge, there are not that many promos in which you can actually win something guaranteed. Most of the promos are based on the lottery mechanics and you will have to make real money bets to get some tickets and a chance to win in a giveaway.

Some other promotions are forcing you to play specific games and providers that you might not even want to play at all. As a result, the whole list of promotions seems useless to me. I will give this section two points out of five, as there are several offers that might be appealing for some other players. But in my case, I could not find a promo with easy-to-understand rules and without any game limitations.

🔎 KYC and anonymity (3/5)

Stake.com does not ask you to pass the KYC verification right away.

In the terms and conditions, they mention, that the KYC might be requested in case of violation of the casino rules, but it seems that you can actually deposit, play and withdraw without the KYC.

I deducted two points here, as the possibility of KYC verification still remains and according to the Curacao license this verification is mandatory for the players who deposit and withdraw larger amounts of money.

👨‍💻 Customer support (5/5)

I had several chats with the customer support and the Live chat operator was always there for me to help. Despite that there were around 7k+ users online every time I sent my request, the communication was fast and professional.

I was sending my messages through the Live chat prior to the deposit, after the deposit, and even after the cash out. Every single time I talked, the maximum waiting time to get an answer was about 2 minutes. While some of the answers were generic and most likely copy-pasted from some internal knowledge base, the overall impression of the customer support service is extremely good.

⚡ Speed of withdrawals (5/5)

The withdrawals at Stake.com are instant! Once you fill out the form and pay the commission for the withdrawal, the cryptocurrency cash-out is confirmed and sent to your wallet right away.

The time needed for the transaction to get confirmed depends on the current network workload. Litecoin offers faster transactions than Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The absence of bonuses allows Stake.com to automatically proceed with the withdrawals, as there is no risk of any bonus abusing. And while this ‘no bonus’ marketing approach might not look so attractive for newcomers, it gives a great option for the loyal players to receive the money as quickly as possible.

🌐 Is VPN allowed? (5/5)

I could not find any information related to the usage of VPN in the casino’s terms and conditions, that’s why I decided to ask this at customer support. The agent in live chat said that there are no restrictions on using a VPN for gambling at Stake.com.

🏁 Final verdict (3.7/5)

Stake.com could become a perfect cryptocurrency casino if they reconsider their attitude towards the first deposit bonuses, promotions, and withdrawing fees. The selection of the games and instant withdrawals are great, but this is not enough to become an industry leader.

You can try Stake.com if you do not care about the bonuses or promotions and do not request the cashouts too often. Read this Stake VS Roobet comparison if you are looking for some alternatives.
