Some enterprising investigative journalists over at Xbiz (NSFW content) have discovered what has long been rumored: Embattled porn-star turned fired teacher Stacie Halas was apparently working in the classroom at the time she was moonlighting in adult video in the mid-2000s.
In fact, in one particular video from 2006, the title of which we can't even bring ourselves to publish even in this adult-friendly publication, Halas brags about her teaching and says doing porn is “very risky” for her other career.
Xbiz notes that she was not teaching at the Oxnard school district school from which she was fired last month after it deliberated over what to do about her porn star past. She was apparently working elsewhere at the time.
The video features a behind-the-scenes interview with the educator. She says:
It is risky, very risky for me. Cause I am a teacher.
She even says she would “probably” be fired if her other, more adult life was discovered.
She said she was doing adult video work for the money, but also because …
I think it's just the excitement of doing something different that you're not supposed to do …
Well, if losing your job is exciting, then rock on, Stacie.
She's suing the Oxnard district for firing her. Her lawyer didn't deny she had been doing porn while educating middle schoolers. He stated previously:
The type of conduct she engaged in was lawful conduct in a business which, while others may disagree with its content, is very vibrant in both Los Angeles as well as the state of California.
We thought she had left porn behind and moved on to teaching. Now it sounds like Halas was doing both.
We can't say we're surprised. We are surprised, however, at the, er, hardcore nature of this latest discovery. Let's just say she was juggling a lot of units. And not necessarily the kind you find on the campus of a top-flight university, either.

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Almost a year after Oxnard Unified School District removed Stacie Halas from her classroom for having a porn past, CBS2 and KCAL9 obtained a 48-page document revealing what went on at a closed-door competency hearing.
Halas, 32, admitted she did porn for about nine months before being hired at Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard.
She told a panel she only took the porn work because of financial hardships. (She appeared in XXX videos under the name Tiffany Six.)
Suraya Fadel, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, said the document revealed Halas not only had money woes of her own -- but that she was also helping her parents with their mortgage payments and groceries.
Halas said she earned $1,500 per role and made about $18,000 in all during her tenure with a Simi Valley-based porn company from 2005-2006.
The document also showed while Halas was under investigation from the school district she worried the porn would come to light and cost her her job.
Fadel said she wrote two emails to the company trying to keep her past buried. In one email she wrote, "Please help me. This video has somehow linked to my real name. I have been teaching now for nearly ten years and this is putting me in a situation of losing my job."
In another email she reportedly wrote, "Please block this video. I am a teacher involved with the school district over this video and this site ... I hope that you understand the defamation of my character that this has caused."
Tuesday, a three-judge panel concluded that the "on-going availability" of her porn material on the internet "will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague" and upheld the decision to fire her from her job as a science teacher.

Will Stacie Halas, whose teaching career was terminated because of her brief porn star past as Tiffany Six, return to adult films after failing to get her job back?
Dubbed the “porn star teacher,” Halas lost her appeal this week, failing to convince a judge to reverse her dismissal and that you can “overcome your past.”
Her lawyer added, in vain, “I think she’s representative of a lot of people who have a past that may not involve anything illegal or anything that hurts anybody.”
“Although her pornography career has concluded,” she wrote, “the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the internet will continue to impede her.”
Halas’ right to engage in legal activity was not infringed upon, but neither was the school firing her if she can’t be an “effective teacher and respected colleague.”
So what will the former Tiffany Six do now?
Her bid to return to middle school science teaching in Oxnard, Calif., was noble, but like it or not, it’s been dashed, leaving her out of a job … but not opportunity.
Despite the obvious stereotypes now associated with Halas, she could use this as a force for good in an age where everything is put on Facebook and YouTube.
As a prime example of how long term effects may be rendered by short term decisions, her example may be just what teenagers today need most.
Of course, if Stacie Halas decides to take another, divergent path in life, well, at least she already has a different field she was already successful in.
The potential for porn titles spoofing her legal drama is endless.

A teacher has been fired from her job as a science teacher after students discovered she had appeared in a number of hardcore porn films.
A California school board unanimously voted that Stacie Halas - whose porn name was Tiffany Six - should lose her job at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School.
The 31-year-old was placed on leave last month when the Oxnard school board were first told the rumours she had starred in a number of porn films and that several students had seen some of the X-Rated material.

While not commenting on the propriety of Halas’s appearance in porn flicks, Oxnard school officials noted that they were concerned about the disruption it would cause were she to return to the classroom, according to Smoking Gun.
Officials at the school sent a letter out to parents last month telling them to monitor their child's internet usage and they were urged at school not to search porn sites for videos which may star the teacher.
Though it has not been confirmed, Jeff Chancer, Oxnard School District superintendent, said that an office worker at the school believes the teacher is the one seen in the videos.
He said: 'Maybe it's not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it's a crime as far as moral turpitude is concerned.'

The letter to parents stated: ' It has been alleged that one of our teachers is depicted in at least one pornographic video and possibly others on the Internet.
'We are asking teachers to discourage the children from searching for and/or visiting these inappropriate sites.
'We ask that you be particularly vigilant over the next few days with respect to the Internet content being accessed by your child on his or her telephone or other Internet-ready device.'
Videos she has allegedly starred in have risque titles like 'Tiffany Six Shows Her Amazing Hot Legs At Casting' and 'Tiffany Six Stacked Blonde With Amazing Breasts'.
'Tiffany Six' can be seen engaging in a wide variety of sexual acts with both men and women in a variety of different settings.
