With new Virtual Reality tools to help clients understand and visualize their new interior environments, Ideation Studio wanted to show these cool new capabilities online. To accomplish this we recorded what a client viewed in the virtual reality environment, and their real-life reactions in the VR headset in front of a green screen.
The final video shows the edited composite of the green screen footage and the virtual tour, with the addition of narration, sound effects, and motion graphics.
Using only text and music, the emotion from this powerful monologue can still be felt.

Student Project: redesign the ampersand in the font of your choice and showcase its use in a poster and kinetic typography animation.
The Farehouse Market is a local mini food hall located in the 600 W Chicago building. While some of their branding assets were provided to them by the property owners (like the Farehouse logo and the logo badge), they still needed menu boards and a customizable sign for special announcements.
The cafe menu board below is a temporary solution that looks high-end, but came at a reasonable cost compared to other similar options. The black-on-black pattern on the lower portion of the menu board resembles brand patterns used in other areas of the food hall and incorporates the names of the other eateries.
The chalkboard sign below is not only customizable, but also magnetic and double sided.
The Chicago Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization that helps people who are blind and visual impaired. One of their products they've developed is a lens and screen cleaner that required special packaging to stand out in common retail settings. Not only was the product label considered, but the box that the product ships in was to be used as the shelf display as well.
The lens cleaner comes in a full size bottle and a travel size pack. Below you can see the product labels for both products and how they fit within the assembled display box.
The display box ships as seen below, with the product inside. To utilize the entire surface area of the box, the instructions for how to assemble the display box are printed on the tear away section of the box.
