Instructions would be a joke if they were funny, but search on the internet a bit and you will find out how to use it. My brother is going through a very bad divorce and child custody issue, he uses this every time he picks up his son and it has not only given him ammo for his custody battle, but has saved him from arrest (soon to be ex accused him of hitting her during one meeting, but video showed him backing away from her yelling for her to stop touching him). Please use according to your state and local laws, but if you need the protection of a bodycam without the attention then use something like this. I just wish it was not so large. Smaller ones are available, but they are much more expensive also.
The spy pen is very easy to use once you get accustomed to the meanings of the blue, yellow, and/or no light. I was able to use it to film without anyone else knowing. My only problem with the pen was not knowing the correct angle and view I was receiving as I was walking. The pen was in a shirt pocket and I wasn't always getting the view I hoped for. Otherwise, it acted exactly as it was advertised.
This Hidden Spy Camera Pen comes with a charging cable, cleaning cloth, and 5 pen ink. Even though my intention was to use this primarily as a hidden camera for my loft area, I’m sure I’ll be using it regularly as a pen too. It’s very smooth and given the fact that I have 5 extra cartridges, I don’t have to worry about running out of ink anytime soon!
These instructions are easy to follow and function settings can be made. Everything you see in the picture is attached. So far, I have only performed some nominal tests on the pen to understand how it works. The image quality of 1080p is good, and the motion detector function works well. This can also be used as a regular pen with additional refills.
I love this awesome recorder. SUch a cool idea and it's very easy to use. This is definitely needed for me to record important conversations without being too obvious. I highly recommend you get it!
It only worked a few times before it stopped. Customer service was extremely helpful about sending a replacement which also only worked a few times. They did refund my money which is great but I really wanted this product.
The audio and video is fair, kind of what I expected. The whole thing is heavy, not something you put in a t shirt pocket and go. The clip on mine was so tight and stiff that it ripped my shirt trying to get it out of my pocket. No sooner than I do get the clip free of my shirt pocket, the clip broke off. And those flashing lights... you aren't hiding anything. I think I'll pass this on to someone and let them see if they can take the guts out and put them into something else. Good thing I didn't pay much for it.

These glasses are very easy to use, with just one button for operation. There are two ways to turn it on: either holding down the button for 3 seconds to go directly into recording a file or holding it down for 2 seconds to enter standby mode. A flashing indicator light, located only where the user would see it on the left interior arm, lets you know what mode you're in: it'll show two flashes of blue and then disappear when recording, or it will have a solid blue light when in standby.
You may end a recording to go back into standby mode by clicking the button one time. While in standby, you can click the button once to snap a 4032x3024 photograph or hold the button down for a second to begin a new recording. Hold the button for about 2 to 3 seconds to turn the unit off from standby or recording mode.
To review the video or photographs, plug the device into your Windows or Mac computer; you'll also recharge the internal batteries when you do this. Within the device's memory are the PHOTO and VIDEO folders, along with a text document used to time and date stamp future recordings. You can use any standard media player when reviewing your recordings on a computer.
