Picture quality on this is very low which is to be expected but I would equate it to an image from an digital camera in the 2000 to 2001 era so very grainy and very hard to make anything out unless the person or thing is exactly still. The night vision on this is pretty much a joke and the motion detection is also in the same category of pretty much a joke. When you get the device there's literally a band of tape that goes around the middle that holds everything together. I've seen good ones I've seen bad ones and this is a lower quality. I'd skip this one.
It's not Included micro SD card . So i don't know how to use it .

I purchased this camera because the listing specifically states that it is a wireless camera that supports wifi connectivity protocols. This camera DOES NOT support wireless WiFi connections. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CAMERA IF YOU NEED IT TO SUPPORT A WIFI CONNECTION. IT IS NOT A WIRELESS WIFI CAMERA.
I don't even know how to work the damn thing I don't even know how I'm supposed to see the picture to give it a rating and it doesn't give you instructions just a little paper that tells you with all the colors on the remote are as if we don't know our colors
Doesn’t work as advertised. Doesn’t hold a charge. Doesn’t do anything.
I got this because I got a new roommate and maybe I'm paranoid but I wanted to make sure they weren't going in my bedroom when I'm away. The camera is really small and easy to place somewhere discreet in the corner of my room. The night vision is cool. My dog keeps setting off the motion detection but I suppose you can't expect a camera to differentiate between a human and a dog.

I have decided to rate this a 5 instead of a 4 because the little bit of trouble with the password reset was not worth taking off a star. Considering devices that has connectivity could really be a hassle. This device was pretty smooth and straight up. Good and some difficulties initially. First, this is a nice looking wall clock. And unless you know where the camera is, your not going to see it. The camera is so tiny and is hidden well.Although the clock comes with a USB cable, 2 meters, I believe, and an AC adapter for the cable,the clock only runs on a AA battery. So,you can plug in to AC and have camera function, but no clock, until you add the AA battery. It was easily found by my phones wifi, as the instructions say it will have a CL or, I forget the other prefix, I think it could have been KL and either of those followed by a long string of numbers. when you tap on that wifi signalfrom your phone, it connected very quickly. you can see what the camera is seeing, and take screenshots. I did not have a micro SD card, so I could not test storage function. That part was a snap. I initially had issues connecting it to my wifi. I knew how it was intended to work. So, after downloading the app this device needs from google play store,it also gives you a choice to download from the manufacturers site. I just felt safer getting it from google. So, here is how it is supposed to go. You bring up the app, it prompts you to change the cameras default password. I did. Then in the camera settings there is many sub settings. In the wifi setting, you then choose your wifi from the dropdown list, and also your password in a box below, so it can connect to your wifi. I will add, you have the option to just connect to your phone and not your wifi. But, I went for the wifi option. So, after finding my network, and putting in my wifi password, the camera connected to my wifi and told me it was successful and gave me the option to save the info. The camera rebooted, and it asked for the camera password it previously asked me to change. It kept telling me it was the wrong password. I tried a few times before doing a reset with the supplied tool. I went back through the step to change the camera password. This time it worked. So, although a little bit of frustration, it now works flawlessly. I turned on the motion sensor in the alarm settings. LOL... just walking back into the room sent my phone like 20 snapshots. I had initially set it to the highest sensitivity just to see how well it worked. There are quite a few sensitivity settings. I think 8, from what I remember. I guess you tone it down if you have animals so you wont get blasted with pics constantly. I was surprised at the amount of settings it had. you can even set alarm times. I am impressed with the amount of features and how nice this clock looks. Very classy look to it. The only complaint I have is the panel on the back of the clock only opens about 65 to 70 degrees. You do have room to plug the USB cable into the clock, and to also install a micro SD card, but it would have been nice if that cover came off or opened more. Not a deal breaker by far, as you wont be opening that panel regularly. Not even to change the clock battery. This would be great for many uses. In a nursery, living room, etc. LOL, or the kitchen to spy on your significant other to see what they are cooking. I do like this device and would recommend it. I will say, I did not test picture quality in darkness, so I am unsure if it will see in the dark, per se.
I've heard of and seen videos where burglars see a camera and take it, which is ok if the homeowner is paying a monthly subscription for 24/7 cloud upload but very unfortunate if the camera was recording to MicroSD card (because that card, along with the footage of the burglars, is taken). For homeowners with security cameras that record to a central DVR, that DVR could be located and also taken along with the footage of the burglary. For this reason I wanted a backup/failsafe solution, an inconspicuous item that looks too cheap to bother stealing, which could function as a camera and source of footage that won't be taken or cared about. About a year ago I tried one of these clock cameras and was severely disappointed. This clock camera blows that one out of the water, I was biased against these and wanted to hate it but couldn't. Pros: - Adjustable Lens Angle - Inconspicuous white dial without a label is responsible for adjusting the lens. - Sweeping Second Hand (not a tick, tick, tick) - The clock runs independently of the camera, and only requires one AA battery. All of the camera stuff is hidden behind a plastic cover so when you take the clock off the wall you see the standard black square one all wall clocks that contains the battery and the black dial to adjust the time. - Blue Iris Compatible - In router mode, where you connect to your 2.4Ghz wifi network, this camera works f
