One hour battery life but great picture. Really good night vision but it doesn't work if it's plugged in. If it's not plugged in the battery dies in 60 mins so you either have an outlet nearby OR get creative and buy a portable charger to use with it to give it a longer battery life. My other gripe was that I missed a few key things that got overwritten because motion mode wouldn't go into effect or at least I couldn't tell. There's one tiny led light that turns blue, red, and half blue/ half red and if one attained to those colors, it's pretty simple to read. But there is no way to tell once set whether you have it on motion, or loop. Loop will record 5 minute videos around the clock for approx eight hours, then it will start overwriting itself. I lost allot to that. A few times after I'd mounted it (takes me like 5 mins to get the angle right and make sure it's hidden) I thought I set the cam to motion, but found out a few days later after retrieving it and plugging it in that it was in loop mode the whole time and had been overwriting itself. If there's one thing I could change, it would be to have the camera make it more clear somehow as to whether it's on motion or loop. The light blinks a series of blue red sequence to tell you what it is set to, and it's really unclear. Setting the cam to record is easy, but motion is iffy at best unless you study the blinking light sequence which clearly, I still after two months haven't gotten right. All in all I would've returned it if not worth it. It's worth the money and it does what it suppose to (just not very clearly)

So far everything is working fine. Camera seems to be easy to set up and looks like the camera quality should be good.

One has stopped working, it’s only a straight ahead kind of view

It took me a while to get the hang of it, but when I did, I was able to use it with no problem. I bought it because I keep hearing something like a large rat coming into the ceiling of my basement, I wanted to know what the hell that was, it sound so heavy I almost wanted to think it was a cat or something. I set up my little camara, and don't you know it a big old rat trying to set up shop. So I mixed some corn meal and baking soda together, and put it here. watch them eat it, then within a few days they were gone, but more of them keep coming in after a few weeks. But now I know I may have a hole somewhere giving them creature access to my basement.

It's okay. If you're looking for just a view at something in a small space, this will do. It does save to a .Avi file so you'll probably have to convert it. Quality is a bit grainy, but it's a micro $30 camera, don't expect GoPro quality. I tried using this to see inside a model set I made. I found that it really has a very narrow field of view. I had to back the camera all the way out of the model in order to see the majority of the model inside. SD card: use a class 10 card under 32gb. Any other lower class card and the video will stutter as I found out. Modes: 720p30fps, 1080p30fps, 12MP Photo. The weird thing is that the box says it's 1080p, but 15fps, but when I look at the video file it says 30fps and it's not stuttering like 15fps would. So maybe it's just a scaled up version of the 720p mode, that would be my guess. Night vision is interesting using little infared lights. Press the power button for 3 seconds and it'll be enabled with each mode. Works well, everything will be a greyscale pink/purple color just so you know. It comes with a bunch of extras, a little mounting clip, a lanyard, a ball jointed sticker wall mount (with 2 spare stickers) [think of how you'd mount a security cam], and the proper mini charging cable conjoined with a A/V yellow jack. (No charge block) Don't lose this cable. As far as I can tell it's proprietary. It's $30 so I think I'll keep it. If I'd paid anything more I'd probably send it back. You get what you pay for, but it's overall a good device. The only thing I'd change is the narrow field of view.

The main reason I bought this particular unit was I wanted 60 minutes of continuous night vision recording (720 or 1080 didn't matter to me) and I could not get it to do that. I contacted support and tried everything they asked, but no matter how I tested this I still consistently only ever got ~25 minutes on the internal battery with recording in night vision. Now I DID get it to record more than that if I hooked it up to my mobile battery pack, but that's not really useful for my application. It's a shame because I like a lot of the other features and found it otherwise easy to use and operate. The nightvision was decent. The quality of the 720 and 1080p video was fine. Just feel like the advertised 60 minutes is false. When I asked support if I got a bad unit or if my 25 min experience was typical they just kept reiterating that I could return it if I wasn't happy, but refused to address my question.
