All lights, check all bulbs, change those that are out. (the most forgotten light is the centre brakelight and licenseplate light bulbs) Check additionally for front lights beam elevation, haze and driving light included. (we have all had an automobile coming towards us with high adjusted lights)
Tires, Off with those studded tires, (most states or districts have a regulation versus studded tires at a specific date) Remember AWD's and 4WD... Same dimension tires throughout (I advise: exact same size, very same brand!)
Tire stress, as revealed on the motorists door or in your owners handbook.

Brakes, exactly how does the brake pedal really feel? If the pedal is squishy or the brakes don't work like they should, you might have air in the system and/or the brake rotors/drums, pads/shoes are put on.
