Apex is the manufacturer of cloth spreading machinery for technical textiles, leather, fashion and apparel industries. Types include semi and fully manual spreading machines. These simple machines handle from 150 lbs to 500 lbs material rolls depending on the model. The rolls can measure from 48”-90” depending on which model you need. It’s important that your table be 6” wider than the machine size.
These simple and reliable machine types include expandable, turntable and heavy roll spreaders. Available with adjustable uprights, edge controls, shifter attachments, catchers and rods. Spreading options include one way or face to face spreading, face up one way, or face to face nap one way.
If you’re really looking to increase speed we have the AP-236 Glider, with automatic vertical and end catches.
If your production model includes short runs for woven materials then the AP-800 Pull-Cut System may be the fabric spreader for you. It’s optimized with a pneumatic operator clamp pull to length of frame. An auto cutting machine moves across, and tracks up or down to adjust for the material pile height.
