Suns at Lakers Game 6: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks
The Los Angeles Lakers play the Phoenix Suns on Thursday in Game 6, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.
The game tips off at 10:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on Spectrum SportsNet.
Los Angeles is embroiled in a major dilemma heading into Game 6, as Anthony Davis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are both questionable for the contest.
If the Lakers lose, the Suns advance into the next round and L.A. will start the offseason early.
Without Davis, Los Angeles looked like a shell of itself. Its offense sputtered worse than it has all series, even being outscored by Phoenix 21-2 in the early portion of the second quarter.
The Suns have the momentum entering this game, with the only knock on its roster being Chris Paul’s shoulder injury. He’s played in every game this series despite the pain he’s endured, illustrating the resilience of him and the entire team.
If the Lakers don’t have Davis available, there’s a good chance this could be its last game of the season if it replicates the level of intensity from Game 5.

Los Angeles has the betting advantage even though it’s not clear if Davis and Caldwell-Pope will play. Given how L.A. performed in Game 5, it’s difficult to envision the roster to play and shoot much better than they have all series.
The Suns have found the formula it takes to defeat L.A. without Davis: Pack the paint when LeBron James handles the ball and force the Lakers’ shooters to make shots. That’s something L.A. just hasn’t done, though their defense can usually keep games tight. But even if Davis plays, it’s hard seeing Los Angeles solve all their woes in this game, so take the Suns +2 and the under 207.5.

Lakers at Suns Game 5: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks
The Los Angeles Lakers play the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday in Game 5, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.
The game tips off at 10 p.m. ET and can be seen on TNT.
Los Angeles is in a sticky situation entering Game 5: Star big man Anthony Davis is unlikely to play with a groin strain and the game is on the road.
The Lakers stole Game 2 on the road, but that game saw Davis erupt for 34 points. Now, Davis might miss the contest.
Adding to the Lakers’ injury problems is Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who didn’t play in Game 4 because of a left quad contusion.
Meanwhile, the Suns took advantage of L.A. being without Davis, riding a 27-15 third quarter en route to a win. Chris Paul also looked like his usual crafty self following two uncharacteristic games in which he dealt with a nagging shoulder injury.
The winner of Game 5 will be one win away from winning the series, making this one a must-win game for both sides.

If not for its sluggish third quarter in Game 4, the Lakers could’ve found a way to overcome the hole Davis left. In the fourth quarter, L.A. climbed back to make it a single-digit game as they outscored Phoenix 27-19 in the period.
But in order for L.A. to replicate that performance, they’ll need LeBron James to play excess minutes. The 36-year-old hasn’t exploded in this series compared to previous playoff performances, but no one knows if he’ll drop the vintage outing Los Angeles needs to pull out a win without Davis’ contributions, especially considering how abysmal the team has shot from the field. Take the Suns minus-5 and the under 207.5.
