This is out of complete curiosity, I'm not interested in getting it done myself(but I do have a heck of a lot of respect for people who have the balls to do it!)
How does making out or receiving oral sex from someone with a split tongue feel?
Well, my snake impression feels great but my nixon has suffered a little.
Making out feels awesome - oral (and maybe this was the guy, not the tongue split) was actually less awesome because the clit is in the center and it reduces the amount of tongue strength right in that area.
from what I've heard from friends who have bifurcated tongues, it's not "better" but it's something different. if you're looking to split on the grounds of sexual pleasure, save your money cause it's not a huge difference.
Forked tongued human here, can confirm. Sex is about pleasing yourself and pleasing your partner. The intent behind the actions matters far more than the anatomy itself.
it made no difference to me, and is sometimes odd when the person I know uses one side to lick my top lip and the other side for my bottom lip.

Tongue Splitting, also known as Tongue Bifurcation, is a type of body modification where the tip of the tongue is cut at the center to as far back as preferred to achieve the look of a forked tongue.
The freshly cut halves are then stitched together to prevent it from bleeding & growing back together...and when it heals, makes for a bizarre body art that poses either amusement or disgust. So if you wanna get one, you gotta be tough and fuck what others think.
Tongue bifurcation should be performed by a trained and licensed professional.
PROCEDURE: There are three methods. First is the Tie-off method , popularized by the earliest documented person in modern history to split her own tongue; a young piercer named Dustin Allor. She threaded a fishing line through her tongue piercing...tying it tightly & repeating the process until she had completely split her tongue. x-P
SCALPEL METHOD: The tongue is cut down the middle using a sterile scalpel and each half is sutured along the cut edges. This prevents the sides from healing back together. In some cases the scalpel is heated to provide a cauterizing effect to limit the bleeding.
CAUTERIZING: Tongue splitting can be done with a cautery unit or an argon laser. Both burn the tongue in half which closes off the blood vessels to prevent much bleeding.
The Lizardman, also known as Erik Sprague, is one of the earliest daredevils to split their tongues. He had it done using the argon laser method on July 18, 1997 by Dr. Lawrence Busino, an oral surgeon. A deeper split was done on October 3 same year.
HEALING: Generally takes 1-2 weeks during which the person may have difficulty with eating or speech. There will be a bit of pain (which can be controlled with a doctor-prescribed pain medication) and swelling. Soft foods (soup, yogurt, or mashed veggies) that require little or no chewing are recommended for the first 2-3 days.
TRICKS: As you get used to your new split tongue, you can train it to do a number of tricks. Some common tricks are grasping or holding objects in between...

What are the pro's and con's of a split tongue?

The title is pretty forward but heres some details of why I'm asking: I'm a female who's been thinking of getting a tongue split off and on for a few years now so I'm pretty certain by now that this is what I want.
For those who will say it'll affect my work chances then I have this to say to you: Go look in a mirror and either talk or move your mouth as if your talking, do you see your tongue? No? then it won't affect anything.
They seem to have done alot of tongue splitting procedures so it seems safe and I did contact them and they seem polite so it seems like the procedure would be fine. So with all of that out of the way, is there any concerns I'm missing and how are they concerns?
Ive been living with my split for 19 years..... The biggest con is difficulty getting food out of my teeth. In 19 years, Ive never had a social or professional problem because of it. I worked with a dentist daily for 3 years before it came up...he had assumed it was a birth defect and said he hadnt even noticed it the first year. He was more fascinated then offended when I told him Id done it electively. I have ZERO regrets. My barbell was causing gum erosion that never went away. My tongue split was a much better decision that piercing my tongue was.
I've found it much easier to get food with my tongue split. Weird.
I can imagine the hell it is trying to get food out so since food is brought up, is there any trouble eating in the time that you've had it? because I can image that with something like an ice cream like a popsicle or one on a cone it would be absolutely annoying since you would probably everything but the middle.
Not affecting work is definitely a pro and so is no regret. I agree with you saying it's better then tongue piercing because I first thought of getting one but then realized I might accidentally rip it out and die choking on it so not going there lol
I feel like it has gotten easier for me to get food out of my teeth after my split. I just go at it with one of the tips and it seems to work well for me
I've had my tongue split for over a year now. It's not a noticeable thing, no one knows about it unless I show them. My speech hasn't been affected, though I do noticeably lisp when I'm tired; never heard anyone conplain about that so it might just be me. I don't struggle with eating or drinking, though I have noticed the extra work that goes into drinking as the liquid goes under my tongue so there's a bit of extra effort.
Every con I could think of I've been able to eliminate, it's just not affecting my everyday life like some people think it would.
As for pros? I can clap my tongue and entertain kids. Other than that, it's just a tongue.
That's great that the cons get worked out with, what it seems like, ease except for that liquid bit but oh well.
The tongue tricks seen really awesome, where they hard to learn?
I haven't found anyone else who lisps when they're tired, now I don't feel so alone! Haha
Close to two years in. Aside from my mom being revolted by it I haven't run into any cons. No one notices it unless I show them and my speech is normal. I'm not as good at whistling perhaps and normal tongues look weird to me. I think so far it's one of the better decisions I've made in life.
I don't have a split tongue but I would be concerned about nerve damage. But I suppose that's a concern with any major procedure.
I wish i would have been warned about the possibility of nerve damage, because i now have a split tongue i can't feel properly and it kind of sucks.
Its common to not have feeling in the tips for a few months, but most people (myself included) regain feeling in those areas after a few months. From reputable practitioners, permanent nerve damage doesnt seem to be the norm at all luckily.
Yes I think so too but it's a risk anyone takes for anything so I guess it's worth it in the long run as long as it isn't regretted.
If I have a really good laugh it's noticable as my tongue gets pressed down and splits on the base of my mouth.
I still have a very slight lisp on saying "66", but manage to make it unnoticable by emphasizing enunciation, making it into 6d6 instead.
Only other con Ive found is if youve made a dish with a really good sauce, licking the plate clean is a pain since your tongues will part on the plate, leaving a line down the middle.
Very high pro with any chance of a lisp being slight since I already have a slight lisp as is, don't need it getting worse lol
I figured licking things would become the hardest thing but hey at least there's the upside of being able to lick egg beaters way easier with it.
I split my tongue in 2001. If for some reason it grew back together I'd split it again. It's never gotten in the way of employment, but occasionally people notice it and ask questions because they're curious -- which I don't mind because I would be too.
I'd ask any practitioner to see as many healed pics from their procedures as possible. Fresh split pics don't often indicate how the split will look after healing. I usually look for signs of heavy regrowth which can indicate (but not always) improper suturing. I'd also see if they were willing to put you in contact with someone they've split to discuss their experience with procedure and healing. Good luck and PM if you have any further questions.
Curiosity is always good as long as they ask politely, ya know?
I appreciate the tip but regrowth will always be a chance so my only question is, how did your's not get any regrowth? I heard of people stretching their tongue and moving it around with their fingers for six days or even 2-3 weeks at most after the stitches are removed.
Terrify your conservative co-workers who haven't noticed it yet
You now have personal entertainment wherever you go
Licking whisks and knives just got easier
You might accidentally bite your tongue more
If you like performing fellatio then larger dicks report less of a cool feeling from you having two tongues because you can't really stretch them far
Licking flat things is a bitch because your tongue spreads
Related to that last one: I can't lick my chin anymore because the points separate
All awesome pros. The one con of accidentally biting your tongue more sounds like a real nightmare since it might hurt more then wit a normal tongue. And licking flat things sounds like licking plates will take extra time to do.
Lots of good info here. I believe the depth of the split has an effect on the tongue function. Before I split mine, I did a bit of research and found that the further back it's split, the more it's function seems to be impeded. My split is only about 3/4 inch deep and it hasn't had any effect on my tongue function. I can still whistle just fine and have no problem eating or cleaning my teeth. A shallow split like mine seems to allow the tongue to work the same as it did before I split it, but it also prevents me from being able to do all the cool tongue tricks. The only thing I can really do is move the tips laterally.

If you’ve seen anyone with a split tongue, forked at the end, you may have had a few questions.
How much does it hurt? Does it affect eating, kissing or speech? And why do people want tongues like a snake’s?
To get some answers, we chatted to Thibault Descamps who had his tongue split in August 2018.
Thibault, 18, said his reason for getting his tongue split is pretty simple: He wanted to. He had a set idea in his mind of how he wanted to look, and took action to make that body his reality.
Thibault, from Nice, southern France told Metro.co.uk: ‘Since I was little I wanted to look like this person I imagined. At the first possible opportunity to do that, I did it.
‘Since I was small I imagined a body that would make me feel like me, a strange body with a lot of eccentricity, like the tongue split.
‘I identify myself as a person who has a strong and imposing character. I am strange.
‘I was euphoric about the idea of knowing I would finally be able to cut my tongue.’
The process of having your tongue split usually involves either cauterisation or surgery using a scalpel.
A practitioner makes the tongue numb with a local anaesthetic then slices the tongue down a dotted line they’ve already drawn on, either with a scalpel, which can cause a lot of bleeding, or with a laser cauterising tool.
To close the wound and control bleeding, each side of the newly split tongue is then sutured (stitched) or cauterised.
Thibault says he doesn’t remember any pain or sensation as he was under anaesthetic, and says he didn’t notice much blood – ‘three compresses filled with blood at most.’
He said the annoying part of the experience was that after having his tongue split he couldn’t swallow for around an hour.
While some people report changes in taste and difficulty speaking after having their tongue split, Thibault says that after the first week of recovery he experienced no negative effects.
Thibault said: ‘The first week it’s impossible to talk well. It was mostly a discomfort. In five days it was healed – still a little sensitive but much better.
‘In time you talk normally. I say that [tongue splits] force you to articulate.’
Thibault also says he never bites his tongue (we’d assumed a split tongue would double your chances), but this may be a result of the amount of control he has over his new tongue.
After a lot of practice he’s able to move the two parts of his tongue independently, allowing him to do tricks and hold items.
It’s important to note that not everyone will be able to do this and there’s no way of knowing in advance if you’d be able to move your split tongue independently before you get the surgery done.
And yes, to answer the big question, having a split tongue affects the sexual side of things.
Thibault said: ‘[Oral] motivated my already existing desire to split my tongue. I think (or at least I hope) I give good kisses, too.
‘I manage to dissociate the two ends of my tongue so yes, there is an advantage.’
He receives some negative reactions to his tongue, but that doesn’t stop him from loving his new body.
‘The main reaction I have is surprise,’ he explains. ‘People are still very ignorant about body modification, they are in a state of shock when seeing it.
‘I have been insulted because of my tongue and ears, which are also modified.’
Photos of his tongue on Instagram are flooded with comments calling it sexy, gorgeous, and intriguing – so any negativity doesn’t have the power to dent Thibault’s self-esteem.
He acknowledges that if he were to want to reverse his tongue split, the option is there – although it’s said this is more painful than getting it done in the first place.
But he says he will never regret it and that his tongue will remain like this.
Thibault has more body modification plans in the works to make his appearance match the body he imagines.
'Should I leave my lovely wife for my much younger lover? The sex is amazing...'

‘The list is very long,’ says Thibault. ‘I would like tattoos that would cover a good part of my body, scarification also, I would like to have eyeball tattoos, and get the nipples and navel removed.’
Yep, he’s planning to have both his nipples and belly button sliced off.
He added: ‘I have lots of projects for my body and the work is already well started in less than a year – my tongue is cut, my ears are cut, and I hope I can quickly continue the fabulous work on my body.’
In March last year, the court of appeal declared tongue splitting to be illegal when performed by a body modification practitioner for cosmetic purposes.
This ruling applies to England and Wales, and is the case even if a person gives consent for their tongue to be split.
There is still debate over whether tongue splitting should be illegal across the rest of the UK, and, of course, the legal status of the body modification may mean backstreet procedures are done without proper care.
Tongue splitting is not currently illegal in France, where Thibault had his surgery performed.
When tongue splitting was made illegal last year, the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aestheti
