Splash - Writers Competition
Calling all writers/poets: Are you a writer interested in gaining more exposure and a bigger audience for your creative work? Would an extra Rs.50,000/-, Rs.35,000/-, Rs.15,000/- in your pocket be a great thing right now?
If so, our Splash That Ink Writer’s Award is the perfect way to achieve both. For this award, any genre or theme of the poem, short story, long story, novel, essay any other form of writing is accepted. All applicants should submit their original unpublished work, 10,000 words or fewer, to be considered. Along with receiving an award of Rs.50,000/-, Rs.35,000/-, Rs.15,000/-, all the writers will have their writing featured within our blog, which reaches thousands of readers per month. The ninth annual Splash - Writers Competition will be held on February 7, 2022, and will run through June 3, 2022. This young writers' competition is open to all middle school students in the Tristate area. To enter the contest, submit a story or a poem about a mermaid. You can also send your work to the judges. The winning entries will be featured on the museum's website.
The competition is open to all students in grades nine through twelve. All entries must be original, including poetry and artwork. Youth categories are open to students in grade seven through twelve. Children are encouraged to submit poems or art pieces that are a combination of a story and an illustration. The author should give credit to the mentor who helped them write the piece. This is a great opportunity for the young author to gain exposure while also working on their writing.
The judges will choose from the best entries submitted by students from all over the country. The contest is open to both children and adults, and entries in both categories must be original. The children and youth category will accept original poems and artwork. All submissions should give credit to a mentor. This competition will help young writers to make their name in the industry. The competition is open to anyone, and you can apply for a scholarship to study at an American university. The best writers will receive digital certificates and a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh. The top two winners will also receive laptops. The shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to work with a mentor, while 100 finalists will get guidance from a literary mentor.
