These shoes are amazing! They were originally recommend by a coworker for being an all around good shoe and they do not disappoint, for work I am on and off my feet for 10 hours a day running through different obstacles, Water, mud, mossy stone..ect, I have felt a great improvement in my running comfortability and confidence that I am not going to slip and fall on my butt lol. Great purchase, only thing is the side of the shoe are a bit too tall or short and rub a bit against my ankle bones. I would highly recommend giving these shoes a try if you are looking for a waterproof running shoe.
love solomon's! i did the classic mistake and tried brookstones what a difference, hands down solomon's are FAR superior especially for comfort and grip, the only downside, more my fault this model is about a half size on the small size, i ended up giving to my son and bought another half size larger- now a great fit.
I have liked these shoes since purchasing the speed cross 3's several years and pairs ago. Love the speed laces and the overall look of these shoes.
Very well made shoes, fit is excellent, by far the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever put on my feet!
Great shoe super comfy and great traction
I have worn Salomon for many years. I ordered the GTX 5 to replace my speed cross 3 and the fit is terrible. I ordered a half size bigger and they are so narrow I could not wear them. Time to try another maker.
Very disappointed with these shoes. On pictures they may look like running shoes, but they feel more like clunky, cumbersome hiking shoes. The toe box is nearly 3” tall. As a result it’s really strange to walk in those. Cushion is lacking. My heals hurt after walking 4 miles in them. But again, the worst part is toe box. I know some people complained about narrow toe box in previous versions but this just strange how Salomon designed this shoe. They also run large as compared to other models.

Grippy and good for running and work
I love these shoes, I had the previous version as well. They are SUPER grippy on terrain and give a lot of support to the soles of your feet - I actually find these are great shoes for working all day in a laboratory environment because of that. I like running in them, not too bad on my knees. Got about a year out of my last pair.
