Speed Up: PHASE 1
In an exciting development, the bot platform "BB" has rolled out its long-awaited speed upgrade, marking the successful completion of Phase 1 of their plan. This upgrade is enhance the platform's performance and provide users with a seamless and fast experience.
The BB team has been working diligently to improve the platform's speed, and the completion of Phase 1 represents a major milestone in their mission. Let's take a closer look at the various phases of this upgrade.
1. Speed Increasing between BB Core Components (DONE)
During the initial phase, the BB team focused on optimizing the interactions between the core components of the platform. Through testing and fine-tuning, we have successfully achieved noticeable improvements in speed and efficiency, resulting in a smoother user experience.
2. All Store Libs Become Core Libs (Partially Done)
In Phase 2, the team is actively working to transition all Store Libs into Core Libs. This move is expected to streamline the platform's architecture, reduce dependencies, and enhance overall performance. Although some progress has been made, additional work is still ongoing to ensure a seamless integration.
3. Bot Data Props Migrated to Quickly Database (Status: Developed but Not Realised)
A significant part of the upgrade involves migrating Bot Data Props to Quickly database. This shift is designed to improve data storage, retrieval, and management, contributing to faster response times and greater stability. While the development work is complete, the team is taking the necessary measures to ensure a smooth rollout to users. Also testing work in progress.
4. New Monitoring System to Eliminate Downtimes and Platform Degradation (Status: New)
Phase 4 of the upgrade introduces a state-of-the-art monitoring system that aims to eradicate downtimes and minimize platform degradation. By closely monitoring performance metrics, the BB team can proactively address potential issues and deliver an uninterrupted and reliable service to its users.
5. (Possibly) Cached BJS for Optimized Code Execution
The team is actively exploring the possibility of caching bot code for execution. If successfully implemented, this could reduce execution times and improve overall responsiveness. However, further investigation and testing are required to determine its feasibility.
6. Broadcasting System Rework for Improved Reliability and Speed
Recognizing the importance of broadcasting, Phase 6 focuses on reworking the Broadcasting System to ensure it is more reliable, stable, and quicker. Users can expect a seamless and efficient broadcasting experience as a result of this upgrade.
7. MCLib Rework - Enhancing Functionality and Popularity
Acknowledging user feedback, the BB team has identified the need to rework MCLib, which is currently experiencing functionality issues and lacks popularity. The team aims to revamp MCLib, making it more robust and user-friendly to meet the needs of its community.
