The predominate theme of this site is spanking and submissive women. This blog is intended for adults 18 years and older. The purpose of this site is to promote criticism, comment, teaching, scholarship, and research.
I always think the traditional school cane is best but some people prefer a straight cane. If you notice this cane does not have a curved end where you hold it. It is a straight cane. She must have been particularly naughty judging by the look of her bottom. It will take some time before she can sit down.
Penny knew that she would be in trouble when her Father saw her school report. She had done particularly badly in many subjects and her overall performance was far worse than the previous year when her Father had punished her with a cane for the first time. An early morning postal delivery brought the school report, and Penny’s Father was enraged by the content. Penny was dressed for school, but her Father soon changed that. She knew there was no point pleading, and off came her skirt. Her father bent her over and without any delay he whipped the cane down over her knickers over and over until she was howling loudly.
When he stopped Penny thought it was all over. But, no. Down came her pants, and her Father further added to the vivid stripes decorating her buttocks as he cracked the cane down even harder.
After many more cruel cuts with the cane Penny finally heard the words she wanted to hear. “Right that will do Penny, get up now”. “Get yourself together, and you’ll need to run to catch the school bus.”
“Thank you Dad. I really am sorry, and I know I deserve the thrashing you have given me.”
“Unless things improve you will be getting another thrashing very soon Penny, do you understand?”
“Yes Dad, I understand”.
With a sore bottom and still crying, Penny ran down the road and got on the bus to school. Her friends were in no doubt that she had been recently punished, but although she was clearly sitting uncomfortably and was still sobbing, they never imagined that she had been caned just minutes before. “Did you get a spanking because of your bad report?” her friend Megan asked. “Yes, a hard spanking, and it still really hurts” she replied. “I think my Dad will thrash me when he sees my report. But at least I won’t have to cope with a sore bottom all day at school”, Megan added. “Will he thrash you with a cane?” Penny asked. “He never has before, but he threatened me with a caning if my report was bad, so I can only think I’m in for it later tonight. I don’t want to think about it at all.” “I bet you don’t you poor thing, I bet it will be horrible” Penny added.

Canes …. It much depends if one is using them seriously or ‘More for show than go’, in my somewhat lengthy experience.
If someone is playing RP school master/mistress and handing out ‘6 of the best’ which in reality is half a dozen taps … then a crook handled cane can be used.
However, if one is seriously caning someone then a crook handle is nothing but a hindrance and makes life extremely difficult …. Canes, even the apparently straight ones will still have a natural ‘bend’ within them over their length … One takes that bend into account as part of the aiming technique.
A ‘crook handle’ makes one hold the cane in a certain aspect … but that can easily mean the ‘bend’ is in effect in the wrong place for the cane to be used with any accuracy or efficiency.
Plus when using a cane, no one should be using these awful ‘theatrical’ swings back and above the head, as one too often sees on videos ….The cane should not move more than a metre horizontally back from the bottom in question and the strength of the stroke is created entirely by forearm movement/flicking of the wrist, not at all via the upper arm or shoulder .. A crook handle entirely hampers wrist movement.
So the advice has to be:
* Always use a Dragon or Kooboo cane, which are rattan cane. Dragon isdenser than Kooboo
* Never use bamboo. Not ever. Bamboo shatters and also sheds needle like shards which can easily cause infection in the bottom skin..
* Do not use crook handled canes as a serious implement. IMO.
* Do not make massive swinging movements .. move the fore arm rapidly toward the bottom horizontally and then stop the movement as one flicks the wrist forward.
* Practice caning on a cushion. Not a person
* Cane slowly and methodically … Do NOT get excited
N.B ….. Targetting
*Hold the cane on the bottom. horizontally. Do not use the cane within 10cm/4 inches of the coccyx. Cane the centre of the ‘seat’ area where the real meat is.
* The cane tip must start half way across the the buttocks, at the separating crease. If one has the cane at rest across both cheeks, then the cane will ‘wrap’ around the hip when swung, which is not a good idea.
Some interesting points there Drave, especially the one about targeting, too often I’ve seen caned girls bottoms that have marks far too high and also at a near 45degree angle, this for me is lack of thought or just laziness in teachers part, there is plenty of soft juicy flesh on a girls bottom to aim at so no more wild swings please caners
I’m an older male that didn’t know I would enjoy spankings and canings, it isn’t all of the pain although that is one aspect, it is the giving up myself to be disciplined by another, the humiliation of asking and willingly bending over for punishment. Giving up control and trusting that, yes, you will be “hurt” but not “injured”. Anticipation is grippingly exciting, waiting, fully exposed, not knowing exactly the instant the cane or paddle will land, what force, just where and then the instant arrive and the pain sears through me and I feel so alive. As I settle, the time space is wonderful, will the next one be 2, 5 , 10 seconds or more as I wait for pain of the next stroke, never knowing how many will land and strike me, what strength and how much time, will two or three land quickly, will it be spread over a longer time, my backside turning red, maybe black and blue, yet I stay in position until I am ordered to stand, my punishment over for the moment, embarrased and ashamed, a man shouldn’t enjoy this but I do, Master or Mistress orders me to pull up my panties and shorts, and leave. I am filled with shame and yet pride, have I been properly punished for my shortcoming?? Yes, but I know I will be back soon, I never stay out of trouble long, I will soon be calling, begging for my new spanking, strapping, caning, whipping or whatever I am to receive and again the anticipation builds and the thrill takes me to new and exciting heights.
