I love these pedals but if you purchase be aware of the following: The studs require a thread locker such as blue Loc-tite. I didn't put any locker on mine and lost 5 studs the first ride. While it's possible that I didn't torque those studs as much as the others, I tend to feel that either the studs should come pre-installed or the pedals should come with thread locker. These pedals are decent but will work better on a smaller or bigger 510 shoe (size 10 isn't ideal).
Hands down my favorite pedals ever, and I've had a few other high end pedals before. Out on the trail my feet feel firmly planted on these pedals when paired with some 5.10 shoes. My last pair was a set of Crank Brothers Stamp 7's, and I really don't like their spindle and bushing design. At first the Stamp 7's were way too tight (lots of friction) but it didn't take long for the bushings would start wearing out and the pedals would be sloppy. Best pedals I've had in years. The same set used on 3 new bike builds, transferred each time. Popped in a few new spikes each season and they're solid.
My previous Spank Spikes I have 4 years riding on them. And they do not fall apart other than replacing pins. Super solid!

Awesome pedals. Great grip and function. I’m coming from clipless and trying to learn how to ride on flats is difficult but certainly made easier by the large platform and great grip these pedals provide!

I've always have ridden platform pedals. Ive ridden many different brands and have liked a few of them, BUT these pedals are like no other i've ridden! They are awesome! Unlimited amount of grip while wearing 5ten shoes that are about 15 years old. The low profile helps with clearance and they spin buttery smooth. Glad i tried these out i was not disappointed!!
I broke my pedals that came with my bike and a friend of mine had these as a spare and he gave them to me. These have the best grip out of any flats I've tried yet. I love them. I wonder if any pedal mfg ever thought of offering a smaller platform though. These things are huge but work great!
