Job Overview
Our client, i-Call International, is hiring Spanish Medical Interpreters to work remotely. In this role, you will facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers through consecutive interpretation over phone and video.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret conversations between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients.
- Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and healthcare instructions.
- Provide cultural mediation when needed to improve communication.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Document interpretation sessions as required.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and healthcare practices.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Experience in medical interpretation or translation preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and the healthcare system.
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work under pressure.

Schedule
- Hourly shifts
- EST Time Zone
Training
- Mandatory paid training begins 13 July 2026.
- 80 hours over 10 business days.
- Paid at 50% of the hourly rate.
- Training payment is provided upon successfully passing the assessment and joining the company.
Additional Information
- Interpretation services are provided via both OPI (Audio) and VRI (Video).
- Final language assessment is conducted through LanguageStat.
- IT training will be provided before onboarding.
- No leave is permitted during the first month except in emergencies with supervisor approval.
