About the Role
i-Call International is hiring Spanish Medical Interpreters to work remotely. As a Spanish Consecutive Medical Interpreter, you will facilitate communication between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients through audio and video interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret medical conversations between healthcare providers and patients.
- Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and procedures.
- Provide cultural mediation to improve patient understanding and care.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Document interpretation sessions, including date, time, and duration.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and healthcare practices.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Experience in medical interpretation or translation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 15 Mbps download/upload internet speed.
- USB headset (mandatory).
- PC/Laptop with Intel 5th Gen or higher and minimum 8 GB RAM.
- Stable LAN (Ethernet) connection.
- HD Webcam.
Work Schedule
- Hourly-based program operating in the EST Time Zone.
- Remote work for both:
- OPI (Over-the-Phone Interpretation)
- VRI (Video Remote Interpretation)
Compensation & Benefits
- USD 5 per hour
- Monthly payments via Payoneer
- Paid training at 100% of agreed hourly rate

Training Information
- Training Start Date: 13 July 2026
- Duration: 80 hours over 10 business days
- Successful completion of assessment and onboarding is required to receive training payment.
Employment Terms
- Independent Contractor position.
- Professional workspace required for confidential medical conversations.
- No leave allowed during the first month except for approved emergencies.
- IT training and platform guidance will be provided.
