Spain has increased the processing time for Schengen visas.

So, now the processing of documents takes up to 45 days from the moment of admission to the consulate, previously it took 3-4 weeks, ATOR reported.

At the same time, the countdown begins precisely from the date of delivery of documents to the consulate, and not from the moment of their reception at the visa application center.

"This means that the real waiting time for applicants may be even longer," concluded ATOR.
