BIO: Born December 19, 1984 in Harlem, NY. Lived in New York with his mother, grandmother (Mima), Aunt, and Uncle. He grew up poor, but thanks to a strong family effort he never realized it until he was much older. At age 12 he moved to Macon, Ga for the second time in his life and around the same time started to be influenced by Hip-Hop/Rap music. His original influence was rapper Tupac Shakur and the album 'Me Against the World'. He started writing poems between 1996-1997 following the deaths of Tupac Shakur and a childhood friend Aqualo Cornelius. He developed his style with influences from the industry and the streets. He attributes his songwriting techniques to close friends and fellow underground rappers G2Da Black and Sir Nasty both from Macon, Ga and the housing projects known as Macon Garden "3600 Block". Influence both parties can be heard in both earlier and currents works released by Southern Com4rt. In 1999 he became part of a group headed by Sir Nasty known as Po Folks. He also started a group known as The New South with G2Da Black. Southern Com4rt has featured on songs with many members of the 3600 block and continues to develope his own style in hopes of changing the industry view of what is original and what is duplication. Southern Com4rt has only produce 1 mixtape and 3 street albums, but attributes his lack of physical work to his support of other musicians in his life who influenced his dreams. He describes himself as a regular man with an irregular way of viewing the world and the affect that music has on the lives of others. His primary passions are God, Family, and Living life with as little complication as possible. His music fuses all elements of his life (sex, drugs, violence, death, women, family, God, struggle, pain, and happiness) along with the art of story telling learned through paying close attention to artists such as Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Outkast, Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony, Lil Wayne (pre-2008), and Field Mobb to name a few. He plans on continuing writing and recording music until he is physically unable and vows to only make music that he deems true to himself and his views. Southern Com4rt is currently affiliated with Graveyard Entertainment.
