Korea, led by coach Colin Bell, defeated Hong Kong 5-0 in the third match of Group E of the women's soccer group stage held at the Olympic Sports Center Stadium in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, on the 28th. 안전놀이터

Belho's quarterfinal opponent, who is aiming to win the Hangzhou Asian Games, has been confirmed as North Korea.

The two teams will face off at the Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium at 5:30 pm on the 30th, Korean time.

Coach Bell said after the game through the Korea Football Association that he understands the importance of the game against North Korea and said, "I think it is a game we must win."

At the same time, even though they took first place in Group E with three wins in the group stage, they also expressed dissatisfaction at having to face 'difficult conditions' against North Korea, a powerhouse in East Asia.

Coach Bell said, “I personally do not understand the system in which each of the 16 teams participating in this tournament has to play a different number of games,” adding, “North Korea was given two days to prepare for the next game (against Korea), but we “received only one day (of rest time),” he pointed out.

“Also, we played three group games, but North Korea only played two.

“I have doubts about the way the competition is run,” he said, adding, “I only have one day to prepare, but I will prepare as best as I can.”

Originally, 17 teams were scheduled to compete in this competition.

Accordingly, the organizing committee divided the group stage into 5 groups, A to C. Each group was assigned three teams, and Groups D and E were assigned four teams each.

However, as Cambodia suddenly withdrew just before the tournament, there were four teams competing in Groups D and E, which includes Korea and Japan, but only two teams were placed in Group C, which includes North Korea.

Typically, in a competition with 16 teams, the teams are divided into four groups of four each to ensure an equal number of games, but perhaps because the schedule was tight, the competition organizing committee kept the group formation as is.

Coach Bell expressed satisfaction with the performance of the current national team, which achieved three wins.

According to the Football Association, Coach Bell encouraged the players in Korean, saying, "The players played well.

I am happy with Moon Eun-joo's first goal (against Hong Kong)."
