Katie (Lucy Hale) and Sara (Phoebe Strole) have been friends since childhood. They enter college together, where Katie is a prized legacy candidate for the Delta sorority, which was co-founded decades ago by her mother, Lutie (Courtney Thorne-Smith) and Summer (Faith Ford), whose own daughter Gwen (Amanda Schull) now leads the Deltas on campus. Events occur during pledge week to cause a rift between Katie and the Deltas, which leaves Sara as a Delta pledge and Katie out in the cold. Katie joins the rival Kappa sorority, and the rivalry splits not just Katie and Sara, but extends all the way into the Delta alumnae association led by Lutie and Summer. — DVD-TCMjunkie

Decent family movie to watch together, cute and new.
-- It's about what you can expect from one of these kinds of movies, but it was very cute and the acting was good. If you're bored and want to find a cute family film, you found it. It of course has the personal lessons, stand up for what you believe in and know who your true friends are but I tend to like movies where the main character is easier to relate to, the one in this film seems perfect. She's pretty, speaks her mind, has the loyalty thing going, great family, talented, incredibly intelligent, gets attention from "like the hottest guy ever". So over all, average.
