Sophie Turner stripped completely naked as she filmed a harrowing shower scene for her new thriller series, Survive.
The Game Of Thrones actress, 24, who plays Jane in the show, is seen sitting in the shower as she appears appears transfixed on a razor while showering.
In the harrowing scene, Sophie sits naked in the shower block before being discharged from a mental health rehabilitation centre.
Survive: Sophie Turner stripped completely naked as she filmed a harrowing shower scene for her new thriller series, Survive.
Stills from the programme show Sophie showering and lathering her legs with soap before shaving them with the razor.
Survive follows Jane, who once discharged from the facility gets on a plane which crashes into snow-topped mountains and is one of only two survivors.
Sophie's character Jane and a man named Paul [Corey Hawkins] fight for their lives after the deadly plane crash.
The focus of the series is on the physical and mental battle Sophie's character and the other survivor face in the aftermath of the catastrophe.
Emotional: In the harrowing scene, Sophie sits naked in the shower block before being discharged from a mental health rehabilitation centre
While discussing Survivor, Sophie recently told Variety : 'The subject matter is so important to me, so everything felt like that's where I needed to go.
'[This character] is very set on duping her way out of this facility, and she's going to go kill herself.
'She's incredibly depressed, she doesn't feel like there's any hope. But she ends up fighting for a life she didn't want to live in the first place.'
She continued: 'I tried to come at it from as truthful a point of view as I could, just from my past experiences.

Pensive: Stills from the programme show Sophie showering and lathering her legs with soap before shaving them with the razor
'Without going into too much detail, I've definitely been where Jane has been. It wasn't the biggest stretch for me, I suppose.'
Sophie said last month that she hopes her new role in Survive will help those suffering with mental illness feel 'less alone'.
She revealed that she was initially drawn to the part of Jane because of how accurately the script depicts mental health.
Survive has just launched on streaming service Quibi, which is targeted at younger viewers, and it is an adaptation of Alex Morel's 2012 novel of the same name.
Plot: Survive follows Jane, who once discharged from the facility gets on a plane which crashes into snow-topped mountains and is one of only two survivors
Opinion: Sophie said she hopes her new role in Survive will help those suffering with mental illness feel 'less alone'
Prior to the crash, Jane had been contemplating taking her own life, and the show follows the character as she comes to grips with it and her willingness to live.
Sophie told PopSugar : 'What drew me to the script was the way that mental illness was written so accurately in my opinion. It felt real to me.
New role: She revealed that she was initially drawn to the part of Jane because of how accurately the script depicts mental health.
'I also loved the notion that this girl who wanted to die so badly ends up fighting for a life that she never wanted to live in the first place.'
Whilst she insisted that the role wasn't 'necessarily therapeutic for [her] illnesses specifically,' she added, 'the more accurately we depict mental illness in film and TV, the more people it will help'.
And the former 'Game of Thrones' star believes 'Survive' will make people feel less alone, and added: 'I hope that the story of this girl finding something to live for helps others find the ability to do that, too.'
Adaptation: Survive has just launched on streaming service Quibi, which is targeted at younger viewers, and it is an adaptation of Alex Morel's 2012 novel of the same name
Scary: Sophie's character Jane and a man named Paul [Corey Hawkins] fight for their lives after a deadly plane crash, of which they are the only survivors
Sophie - who is married to Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas - also hopes it will 'impact anyone struggling with self-worth'.
She said in a previous statement about the series: '[The character Jane]'s a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life, but to also find her own source of strength and courage.
'I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need.

LONDON — Bare bums, boobs and other naughty bits are as much a part of Game of Thrones as dragons, swordfights and political intrigue.
And it shouldn’t be any other way, says the cast.
“On Game of Thrones, as much as some people might disagree with me, I think (nudity) is all very necessary,” says Sophie Turner — Sansa Stark on the HBO fantasy drama — in an interview to promote tomorrow’s release of Season 4 on Blu-ray, DVD and iTunes.
While the world of Game of Thrones has plenty of women in positions of power, there are many others who don’t have the same political or physical advantages as men. For them, sex can be a tool. Or a weapon. “They can really manipulate people through men’s desires,” says Turner. “So I think it’s quite necessary they show that aspect.”
With Season 4 of Game of Thrones arriving on home video, fans will be able to revisit jaw-dropping moments like King Joffrey’s wedding, the duel between Oberyn Martell and the Mountain and the Battle of Castle Black.

But while they might not openly admit it, you can bet there are many fans who will be jabbing the pause button when devious Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) has a bathtub conversation with Selyse Baratheon, or the beautiful and demure Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) cleans herself off in a river.
The cast says the show’s ample nudity is done in service of the story — as well as good hygiene, apparently — and they’re not sure why we’re so hung up on it.
“It’s some of the appeal, let’s be honest,” says Emmanuel. “But to just focus on the fact that somebody is nude — it’s kind of underselling it a bit, because it’s so much more than that.”
In Season 4, Emmanuel’s Missandei strips down for a bathing scene, drawing the eye of the warrior Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson), who, like the rest of his Unsullied comrades in arms, has been castrated. It’s a new element in the unusual romantic relationship developing between the two, which will carry into Season 5 when it debuts April 12. “There’s nothing salacious about it ... he’s interested in her and then she kind of realizes she doesn’t mind that,” says Emmanuel. “I feel like it was a really lovely scene and a really lovely way of doing it.”

Which isn’t to suggest the 25-year-old actress, who will be seen in this April’s Furious 7, was gung-ho about doing her first nude scene.
“I think I was more worried about what my mum would think,” says Emmanuel. “I think her initial reaction was, ‘Oh my god, my baby’s naked on television.’ But when she rewatched it, she was like, ‘It’s a really lovely scene.’ And I was really proud of it.”
Dutch actress Carice Van Houten, who plays the frequently naked Melisandre, finds it odd that people seem more concerned about nudity than explicit violence.
“They can see people blow up and they can see blood, but they are very afraid of nipples. I find that quite strange,” she says. “And it tells how much people are still so uncomfortable with nudity, with their own sexuality.
“When it becomes sexist, I don’t agree with nudity,” Van Houten says. “But it’s a part of life, and I think we deal with it so well in the show and it’s so tasteful. Especially for my character, it’s part of her instrument. It’s her weapon.”

That doesn’t mean Van Houten wants to be naked all the time. “Not at all,” she says. “I’m 38 years old and it’s not my favourite thing to undress in front of a camera. But if it’s part of the scene, it’s beautiful. You show life.”
That said, some Game of Thrones fans think there’s not enough male, erm, life on display in the show, especially when it comes to characters like Jon Snow, played by the broodingly handsome Kit Harrington. “There is a lot of male nudity on Thrones,” insists Harrington. “Unfortunately, you can’t show a man sexualized on TV, because of all the problems that entails.”
“There’s more than any other show,” adds Turner. “Just the ratio’s a bit off.”
Not that she minds, exactly. “I don’t want to see any more willies.”
