She recently revealed that she was once deemed 'not small enough' to launch a career as a model.
But on Tuesday, Sophie Tweed-Simmons - daughter of KISS rocker Gene Simmons - appeared to be having the last laugh as all eyes were on her at The Neon Demon's Hollywood premiere.
The brunette beauty wowed as she hit the Cinerama Dome's red carpet in a colourful sleeveless dress, which boasted plunging sides - allowing her to show off her ample breasts and tattooed torso.

Sophie Tweed-Simmons certainly stood out from the crowd at the premiere of The Neon Demon in Hollywood.
She rocked the purple carpet wearing a multicoloured midi dress, which is by oh so boho brand Free People. We love the cross back straps and knitted fabric of this dress, which is spot on for festival season. Sophie went for va va voom vibes by teaming hers with strappy heels and very little else, but why not wear yours with a bandeau top underneath and a pair of ankle boots?

Whole opting to largely forgo accessories, 23-year-old Sophie teamed the eye-catching dress, which also featured a thigh-high slit, with a black pair of vertiginous strappy heels.
Sophie - whose mother is model Shannon Tweed - wore her wavy chestnut tresses were swept to one side, while her makeup was kept light and fresh for her glamorous excursion to the screening.
Inside the event, she mingled with the likes of Keanu Reeves, Elle Fanning and Ryan Gosling.

While she recently starred in a campaign for lingerie line Adore Me, Sophie recently told People that it was for her to get her start in the industry, despite being the daughter of a high-profile model.
'When I was 14 and just trying modeling, they would flat out tell you, "You're not small enough,"' she said.
'Or [agencies] will take you as a model, but then they won't send you out on any castings without telling you why.'

Sophie is one of many so-called 'curvier' models out there who are changing the perceptions of fashion models along with the likes of Ashley Graham and Iskra Lawrence.
She told the publication that she is 'happy to be part of' the movement, especially because she wasn't always so happy with her curves as she is today.
In fact, Sophie says she had further problems with body image simply because her body was not like that of her mother Shannon, who achieved great success as a model in the 1980s, including being named Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1982.

'Her body wasn't something I could relate to,' said Sophie of her mother's famous frame, and even once revealed that the younger Shannon never even worked out until after she had children.
But lucky for her, her mother was understanding and actually helped Sophie learn to love the body she has.
'She sat me down at a very young age and said: "You got your body shape from your dad [Gene Simmons]'s side of the family, and that's not the shape that I am, but that doesn't mean that your body is any less beautiful than mine,"' she remembered.
'I think that's a conversation that parents don't seem to have with their kids, and I'm thankful that she did with me, because we really do compare ourselves to our parents.'

She once got so disillusioned with modelling that she quit, but fortunate this second generation model decided to take a stand and returned with a voluptuous vengeance.
Sophie Simmons set hearts racing last month as her saucy campaign for Adore lingerie hit the internet.
And on Wednesday night, the 24-year-old daughter of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed revealed at the DailyMail.com Summer White Party just what it took to bare nearly all.

Speaking outside Pump in West Hollywood, California, the model said the campaign forced her to confront her fears but she was shocked everyone found seeing her derriere such a big deal.
She told DailyMail.com: 'My butt was out but you know what, it's just a butt and everyone freaks out about them but it's just a butt. I don't think it is that big of a deal.'
Many accused the model of having her curves Photoshopped but she hit back and confirmed that was all her.
Stripping down and being pictured in her underwear meant the style star had to confront some old self-doubt.

No big deal: 'My butt was out but you know what, it's just a butt and everyone freaks out about them but it's just a butt'
Sophie said: 'For me it was about overcoming my old self-hate because I used to really not be comfortable in my body. Just being curvier and my mom was a straight-sized supermodel so it was just really hard for me growing up with that comparison. And, of course, the women I looked to in magazines just didn't look like me.
'But now I feel like there are just so many more options and, if I can be at all part of that, breaking through that barrier, then I wanted to be a part of that.'
Sophie - who wowed in white cut-out dress at the party - had struggled to get jobs after she went from a straight-sized model to one with curves.

The beauty said while she doubted herself, her famous parents never did.
'They were really supportive. I started modelling when I was 14 and I was straight-sized so it was a little different because I was a 2 and I was a 4 and I could do those runway shows.
'Then I grew into my body and suddenly it was different and no one wanted to hire me and I quit. And my parents were supportive of that too.'

While Sophie learned to be confident and comfortable with her size, it took the modelling world a little while to catch up.
'I started seeing a shift in fashion, I realised that whenever I talked to my friends about the latest ad campaigns we were all just fed up what we are seeing.
'I though there has got to be a modelling agency out there trying to break through that and it took me a long time to find one, and now there's hundreds that are open to it so we are making progress.'

Sophie Simmons probably will not be racing out to pick up a copy of Katey Sagal ’s new memoir, Grace Notes .
In the revealing book , the Married With Children star, 63, details an affair she had with Gene Simmons 43 years ago. Sophie Simmons, the 24-year-old daughter of the Kiss rocker, thinks the account is unnecessary.
“I feel like it’s no one’s business, really,” she said on the Allegedly With Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss podcast on Tuesday. “I mean, if Katey wants to write a book about her life, cool — but to write about someone and then have it affect their family I feel like is a really kind of low place to go to try and sell a book.”
Simmons added, “And she should probably look at her own family — I’m just saying — before pointing fingers … because other people could write books too.”
Sagal — who has been married to screenwriter Kurt Sutter since 2004 — met Gene Simmons, 67, in a bar in Santa Monica, Calif., where she was singing as a waitress in the ’70s.
“At first, I thought Gene was really weird,” the Sons of Anarchy alum writes . “I took him home with me that night because he was quite persuasive, and I like men.”
Simmons ended up signing Sagal and her band to his label, but they were dropped after one album. The affair was on and off for several years, but ended when she told Simmons she was going to marry bassist Freddie Beckmeier unless he married her instead. Simmons reportedly laughed at the idea, so Sagal did tie the knot with Beckmeier in 1977. They divorced three years later.
Sophie Simmons, who is a musician as well, said her family will brush off the story. “It really doesn’t affect us — we’re so tight as a family,” she explained. “My parents are so crazy in love. I mean, congrats to the one groupie who thought they got ahead, but apparently didn’t. … You’re a really talented actress, so it worked out.”
Gene Simmons wed his longtime love, Shannon Tweed, in 2011 after three decades together. They have two children: Sophie and Nick, 28. Sagal, meanwhile, is on her fourth marriage. She and Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter share a 10-year-old daughter, Esme, born via surrogate. Sagal is also mom to a daughter, Sarah, 22, and a son, Jackson, 21, from her third marriage, to Jack White.
