Miss Marjona

This week helped me a lot to understand things that were not clear before. Last week I was still confused about the difference between vocabulary and function lessons. But after having the function lessons this week, I finally see the difference, It took me three lessons to get it, but now I feel much more confident about those two lessons. And plus, I got some very cool lesson&activity ideas from Parizoda and Madina during their function demos.

Another good part of this week was the book we were given to read. It gave us many useful tips on how to improve and manage our classes effectively and be an effective kind of teacher. Looking back I realized mistakes in praising and giving punishments and communicating with my students. Now I'm gradually correcting them and building a good connection with my kids and I hope I can overcome even minor issues soon.

Overall, this week was very helpful and fueled me with more confidence and motivation like the previous one.

Miss Parizoda

This week was amazing. We read really helpful book. We learned much about teaching. I had my next tp lesson and I enjoyed from the procedure, simultaneously was worried about my weaknesses. However I am trying to be more mindful about it, as mistakes open the way to the development. I learned problem solving skill from Madina. She could not print her materials and still avoided from the problem. I think she should be my role model in terms of this skill. I enjoyed coming here, even though it required an escape from the school. But my time in The Unity was much more beneficial than any school subject. I will never regret attending here. And I thank Aziza opa for giving the book as a hometask, because my mindset has changed after reading 150 pages. When I faced some behavioral problems used to disappoint me and I felt desperate. But now I know that I have a key on my hands, what is left is just trying to open. Generally my life is getting better with the help of this book and this course 

Miss Madina

From this week, I’ve started applying all the strategies I learned from this course, and honestly they’ve been really effective. My new students are enjoying them, and I’ve even begun using these strategies in my support classes. It’s amazing

I’ve also been focusing more on my own mistakes and becoming more creative with my lessons. This course has truly offered me so many opportunities to grow as a teacher. The additional tasks like reading a book or watching a teacher-related movie are also incredible and so informative.

Thank you for these five weeks, I’m genuinely happy to say that everything has worked, and I’m determined not to forget what I’ve learned from this course.

Miss Zilola

Day by day we are learning the distinctions between lessons and this week we focused on the difference between function and vocabulary lessons.

At once they seem to be the same but with some additions and omitions a certain difference is appearing.

I got a very useful insight this week and it is both of these function and vocab lessons must be followed by a speaking activity. Because speaking is the part which is emphasized most. My mistake was that, at the end of my vocab lesson, i gave a writing task which does not clearly show whether they have acquired todays new words or not.

Apart from the lessons and observations, i am analysing what we have learnt till now and felt that i may, one day, forget what to do. So, i am turning to my own lessons i decided to look through everything we have covered so far.

If god is willing, i will try to bear everything in mind by revising them everytime
