I'm confused about the objective that I need to accomplish in order to get the "Solo Operative, Right?" Master Achievement in the Legacy of the Void campaign. Could anybody offer an explanation?
Secure and disable 2 Void Crystals without any assistance from Kerrigan’s Swarm in the “Harbinger of Oblivion” mission on Hard Difficulty.
However, it's not at all clear to me what "any assistance" means in this context. Kerrigan starts sending units right away, so clearly it's not that. There are times when she sends a larger wave - am I just supposed to disable the Void Crystals while these waves are not active? Is it about presence of Zerg forces in some radius around the Crystals? I can think of a few interpretations of what might be meant, but none of them seem particularly better than others. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Note: I'm not looking for a guide for the achievement, just for an explanation. I did some googling and found a few guides but none of them state what precisely needs to be accomplished, and I'd rather not watch them so as not to spoil the challenge.
So it's very unclear, but after a few attack waves Kerrigan will announce she's coming with a big Swarm to attack a Void crystal. With the way the mission works you're supposed to push hard with that attack wave. The achievement is to destroy the void crystals before she launches that attack wave.
It's also not clear to me if it means proximity, doing damage, or what. But I did complete the achievement. To ensure that kerrigan is not involved at all. Just simply ignore the first void crystal and go for other two. Kerrigan will be busy with the first void crystal while you clear out other two, if you do it right, there should be just enough time for you to clear two void crystals before kerrigan clears the first one.
