Organized by Moving Academy of Performing Arts
For applicants who are not able to participate at any pre-nomination rounds the organizers held video-nomination.
Please read the description below carefully before applying!

Should be recorded in a black box, or under theatrical conditions
Please be aware that we are not looking for dance films but recordings of finished, lit theatrical productions!
Shot with one or maximum 2 fixed camera
Full HD 1080p quality, landscape (16:9) format
No filters, no graphic effects, no black and white, should be in color and without captions, without credits
Share the video: upload a HD quality video on YouTube or any other online channel and share the link. Please upload it without a password! The video should be downloadable for the jury.

The films can be recorded by a mobile phone, camera or film camera.
They can be experimental films, animations or anything else if their topic is related to
Length of the films without credits: maximum 60 second (It can be shorter!)
Credits: Title in the beginning, cast in the end
Please upload your film publicly to YouTube or Vimeo or etc…
On your application form add the link and embed code of the film.
Award: Best One-minute 2022 (Jury prize)
The films will be screened in January, 2022 at the venues of SzólóDuó International Dance Festival 2022 and online.

SzólóDuó 2022 will take place live in Budapest that is our goal and intention. However preparing to every scenario regarding the changing rules and travel restrictions due to the pandemic we will ask participants for a video recording when applying. Hopefully it won’t be the case but if the festival can not happen live we will move it online. Thus you will need a video about your performance when applying!
Share the video: upload a HD quality video on YouTube or other website without password.

Richard’s solo works include Praia Mar (for cor anglais ), Adagio and Scherzo (for cello) and Humoresque ( for either bassoon or saxophone). There are many duos and trios with piano: Abigail’s Jig, Cantilena and Five Short Pieces in numerous transcriptions for different instruments. The musical language is generally tonal.
