If you like tart rhubarb perfumes, this is for you! I just threw it in it to fill out MH's minimum sample order, but I was pleasantly surprised by its dry, tart scent. The rhubarb really is the star– I could maybe get a whiff of tea if I tried, but otherwise the other notes play a quiet...
I bought this here in Kenya 🇰🇪 after watching a review by Jay Amin and absolutely love this, I have 12 odd fragrances but this I love more than the rest, the quality is absolutely surprising,I own Designer brands but always shied away from the middle Eastern gems.. I wear this often but got so...
I've been trying to find a scent that captures Eris Green Spell's perfect balance of tomato leaf and fruit that lasts longer than 30 minutes. This comes close, so long as I spray it on fabric. On clothes, the tomato leaf stays dominant, with just enough of the floral and fruit notes...
I love this one for early fall daytime wear. Orange incense 💥
I agree with wst that this teeters between a generic shower gel scent and something more elevated. The cypress and sea notes are nice, and I could see it working really well for a guy who likes aquatics and wants to branch out from the usual suspects without going full niche-weird. It's not...
The best ever. As soon as I sprayed this in the store, it was love at first sniff. This juice is just awesome. Immediately went home and ordered it online. This is Tom Ford's best ever fragrance.
It starts off smelling of fresh, realistic basil, then quickly falls off into a strangely licorice-like scent. Fig is there too, but overall I can't say I enjoy it.
Mmmmmmm I love this! I picked up lavender right out of the gate, then juniper (which I thought was pepper until I read the notes). I very much get the cedar too, which is a lovely touch. Very sensual and almost masculine, but at the same time sweet and can be easily pulled off by a sexy femme...
Not my fragrance however it smells like rotting cucumbers with shower gel, not good💀…
This may be my favorite new purchase of the year. Confession - I also purchased FM's Iris Poudree, a favorite of mine and quite different than Iris Porcelana, but since I've had samples in the past, I don't count it is new. Iris Porcelana (IP) has an almost fruity appeal that...
its a very nice fragnance a sweet fragnace that cant go wrong, solid pick
When I read the notes, I immediately thought "Mula Mula" and then reviews confirmed. Lol. Its probably different in other areas and not a spot on dupe, but I'm passing this one up. I have Mula Mula...and I'm loving every drop. Part of building a good collection is not...
Leather and liquor! This has a similar DNA to Francesca Bianchii's work. True to its namesake, this is mature and a little naughty. It good "next step" fragrance for those who want to smell different from the crowd.
My mom wore this growing up in the 90’s. I love it so much! She just bought a bottle of it on eBay and it makes me want to wear it too. Fresh and pretty and comforting
I'm a fresh fragrance person--I own Aqua Celestia Forte and really like Petit Matin. Of the MFK fragrances I've smelled, smells the most to me of sort of generic shampoo/detergent--which I like because I love those smells, but I wouldn't pay MFK prices for it.
Another magnificent piece of art from Elena!! So talented!!
Clea is a beautiful perfume, and while I can understand the comparison to Chanel 5, this is is really a different fragrance. Clea has no peach note. She starts soapy and ends with a smoky vetiver. True class and comforting.
Just saw a review for this in YouTube. Hope to try it soon!
The article mentions oak wood chips from Cognac ageing barrels? True extract and not artificial? You have my attention👍🍷
They brought back Dream Angels Divine one year recently for a Semi-Annual Sale, and I got it. It smells like Dove soap! (That's not a bad thing.) The documentary series on Hulu about Victoria's Secret is really interesting for those who want to learn more about the company.
Not sure if my response fits the ‘subject’ of this Article but! All this ‘sustainability’ and ‘Vegan’ stuff has been pushed heavily by a certain house called ‘Paco Rabanne’ - So, take Phantom for instance, you cannot refill the 50ML or the 100ML but you can refill the 150ML bottle. Now, let’s...
I've really enjoyed this Q&A article Patric! I really love all that he said about creating/creation so I will save this article to re-read. I have a friend who wrote an article about being creators/producers verses just being consumers, and it's stuck with me for years. This is very...
@glellis what better compliment could we receive? Thank you for watching :) Let us know if you have any suggestions for future topics.
Didn't know that they actually released 100ml's for this. To me, the €315 for Tero is more worth than the $349 for Crush on Me. For those looking for a more masculine caramel-patchouli, Crush on Me is certain to be better. But for women and for people that prefer to have a gourmand-like...

Saw this on Jo.aShop for about $70 for a tester, was contemplating if to get this or Royal Night at $49 went back the next morning it had went to $86 and Royal to $51.Ended up getting Royal & Moustache EDP.Im very happy with my purchases,I intend to put this on my must have list right next...
So Estee Lauder developed a cologne for her husband John H Lauder and made it feminine? Maybe he was actually a woman?
@Adam_Forziati Thanks, that was really helpful.
With a name like "Burnt Hair", what notes would this fragrance even have??
I found a set of Shalimar Light a few years after it was discontinued at a discount store. It had some chips on the bottle, but they were just surface, so it was a great bargain. When I sprayed it the first time, I felt immediately that it smelled exactly like my Shalimar cologne smelled in the...
I absolutely love incense and its mood-altering properties. I love smelling things that remind me of sacred places and moments and in perfumery I'm just now learning how diverse it is and how can be used. I am currently saving to acquire Encense Suave by Matiere Perfumer (sorry if I'm...
Ooof, he did not pass the green line test
I adore Gold. I don't often love lily as a note. Of course there are so many types of lily that it really does depend on the one highlighted, but I love the lily (Casablanca?) used here. I never took note of him as a perfumer. The only other creations of his that I own are Velvet Orchid and...
Thanks for the article. I'm familiar with the expression, "as above, so below," inside of astrology. In astrology, Elemi is ruled by Mercury/Hermes the Psychopomp, the god who is uniquely able to enter and leave the underworld of his own volition, among other marvels of course. A...
Great read, wondering what happened to them! I really love this house. I have the OG’s Perla and Cara which are beautiful. I will have to try the newest fragrance very soon.

I don't get why this is rated so poorly

I recall trying this fragrance at a store about 3 years ago, before the quarantine and I really enjoyed it, perhaps not enough to purchase at full retail but it did left a good impression. 3 years later I recalled it and somehow a needed to have it and I wouldn't stop at anything to get it but it seems to be either discontinued or just hard to get anyhow, I got it from a discounter (not too discounted) and what happened after these years? Well it's just as good. It's all about the cedar here as you can expect (Cedro is spanish for Cedar) and it's done right. It's not a ground breaking fragrance by any means or a sexy bomb but it's a solid elegant fragrance that's great for office wear or night out, cooler afternoons and formal events. Performance here is solid so all good with this scent, very glad I purchased it.

Llevo usándola 4 años, terminando el segundo bote ya. He usado multitud de fragancias, y la que me ha dado resultados de cumplidos en más ocasiones en pubs y en cualquier sitio, ha sido esta, pero con mucha diferencia

If we can't stand the boredom any longer, time is killed. Kühn-Görg, Monika

The ingredients of this fragrance are very bright, fresh and sparkling. You should recognize tangerine, some pepper and of course the cedar. Very boring, because you only recognize the woody component, which has been trimmed too tight in the artificiality. Comparable products with cedar, are much more aromatic and complex than this boring one which kills you and never lets go. For LVMH, this boring tedium is certainly not the greatest masterpiece that has appeared on the market. It strongly reminds of the Fan Fendi line, which was also very dominant and quite synthetic. With too much humming and too little openness for the detail. The evolution is linear and monotonous, that also brings to the fore the Acqua di Parma series, which is stuffed into the department store shelves by the same manufacturer. The biggest shortcoming, these ingredients are grown in the laboratory above the acceptable pain threshold. With this, it is even possible to bring out the no longer existing olfactory buds in smokers. For the cost budget a blessing, for the fragrance and development a curse. If you prefer fragrances with high sillage and long strength, this one is not the first choice here, because it smells too much like a three for two action from Kaufland and not like a medium mainstream which should be a little finer and better tuned.

Solo Cedro, the fiery Spaniard - Actually, he could be a banal incense-stick liquorice grater, if it wasn't for this cloud of fresh tangerine and pepper that so skilfully envelops and surrounds him. This, however, gives him an incredible finesse and agility, catapulting him to the heights of cultivated gentleman fragrances. Yes, he is receptive to compliments, which he also answers skilfully. He does not ask if he may enter - but enters the room with an intense embrace. Thanks to its highly attractive, inviting cedar notes, most doors open up to him anyway. Its woody notes also give it an immense seductive attraction, as well as a certain melancholic depth, which is not so heavy that it becomes brooding. He hardly knows any resistance, and when he does, he overcomes it playfully with playful compliments (pepper) and heart-freshening remarks (tangerine). Next thing you know, you're both on the couch naked. And thus his areas of application are also relatively diverse: Wherever there is a need for sustainable persuasion, winning or impressing: Whether on the racetrack, at an important business dinner or on a first date, he has his place and finds his way. And before the wearer knows it, he will no longer be solo, contrary to the naming. For me a Hidden Champion, an absolutely remarkable, classic men's fragrance, which clearly stands out from the fragrances of well-known perfumers.

Duller than the dullest woody scent on Earth, but I’ll admit it: it’s nice to wear. And compared to other mid-range cedar-based scent like the horrid Chopard Noble Cedar and the likes, it’s easily better than many of them. It’s flatly artificial to the bone but it feels smooth, fresh (a refined, slightly powdery kind of orange-infused freshness, thanks to neroli), slightly sweet-fruity, with a classy touch of balmy herbal mint and something like tea. And cedar, of course. It reminds me a bit of Dunhill Icon with less complexity and more crisp wood. And obviously it’s in the same league of Terre d’Hermès and countless of other woody-fresh scents, but the presence of neroli, of a powdery-minty axe and of cedar more than vetiver makes it slightly (really slightly) different from many of them. Say, drier and warmer and the same time. Simple and unpretentious, completely uninteresting from a “fragrance fan” point of view, but quite pleasant to wear. Clean, cleverly composed and showing a really nice balance of tones – from warm to tart. Easily (and nothing more than) a safe and surely successful Christmas gift for dads, brothers and colleagues ready to dismiss their Axe fragrances. 6/10
why is this so poorly rated, love how it smells!
Woody scent with a fresh touch of citric notes and basil, spiced with nutmeg and pepper. Discrete and inoffensive.
