Software Project Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, schedule, and budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality assurance, and stakeholders, to drive project success and exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, execute, and manage the entire software development lifecycle for multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
4. Develop and maintain project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocation.
5. Monitor and track project progress, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing timely mitigation strategies.
6. Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring effective and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Conduct regular meetings, including kick-off, status, and retrospective meetings, to ensure alignment, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
8. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and development teams to prioritize requirements, manage change requests, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
9. Facilitate effective collaboration, communication, and coordination between team members, ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment.
10. Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Software Project Manager, successfully delivering software projects from initiation to completion.
2. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and project management frameworks.
3. Experience managing cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance professionals.
4. Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
5. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
6. Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
8. Proficiency in project management tools, collaboration software, and documentation tools.
9. Knowledge of logistics or supply chain industry practices and processes is a plus.
