They develop and offer innovative insurance products and consistently focus on customer’s needs for new and simple solutions with an excellent user experience. The Berlin-based team has acquired over 50,000 new customers since it was founded in 2017 and aims to be Germany’s most popular digital insurer by 2021.
The company has just recently completed a founding round of more than 100 million Euros of fresh capital. The fast growing team currently has around 80 employees from 22 nations and the corporate culture is characterized by entrepreneurial and team spirit.
To disrupt the insurance industry, the team has gained years of experience as entrepreneurs, insurance experts, and senior technologists. For the further growth, they are looking for the best IT talents who value state-of-the-art technologies and love good code.
Your responsibilities:
You are passionate about error-free code and enjoy finding those bugs that cause all the trouble. If you consider yourself a testing specialist, someone who likes to automate tasks, and also someone who likes to support your team members, this might be the right opportunity for you.
- You will lead the test strategy for both automated and manual tests
- You run regression, performance, and penetrations tests. If required, you sometimes manually test functionalities.
- You help the team define testing methods and to pick the right tools.
- You work closely with your product management and have a clear understanding of user requirements and behaviors.
- You are managing the test documentation and infrastructure.
- You are passionate about quality and help the team to produce high quality products
Requirements:
- 3+ years in writing and executing automation tests
- Experienced in automation development (OO language)
- Strong interest in test automation and test-driven development
- Passion for error-free code and coaching team members
- Expert in bug and root cause detection
- Independent self learner
- Great team player
- Good English skills
Beneficial:
- Background in financial or insurance industry
- Experience working with Selenium
- Experienced in Python, Groovy, Java or other JVM language
