Your Role:
If you want to contribute to the engineering part of the future of retail, if you are able and willing to learn new stuff and if you want to be a part of huge market changes, you should definitely apply for this Software Development Engineer position with relocation to Berlin. By taking this job you will work together with the current data scientists and machine learning teams in order to learn and use this knowledge and experience. Creating microservices in Python/Go/Scala, then deployment in Docker is going to be one of your main task as a Software Development Engineer.
Your qualification:
- Superior knowledge of Computer Science and algorithms;
- Good knowledge and experience working with functional programming and Python, Scala or Go (at least one of them and desire to learn the rest);
- Understanding and experience with Docker, Git, TDD and CI;
- Experience working with Azure and high capacity systems;
- Knowledge of columnar data stores, NoSQL, microservice architecture, concurrent programming and distributed systems.
