🌏 We're hiring: Social Media Manager Intern (100% remote, ~5–10 hrs/week) 🌏
AlphaByte, Inc. (Tokyo, Japan) is looking for a Social Media Manager Intern to help us take our new app to the world.
ABOUT US
We built Inko — an iPhone app where you talk to an AI out loud for 60 seconds and get a personalized lesson note ("here's what you said → here's how a native would say it"). 40+ languages. We were recently featured on World Business Satellite (WBS), Japan's most-watched primetime business news show 📺 — but almost nobody knows the app exists yet. That's exactly what this internship is for.
WHAT YOU'D DO
As our Social Media Manager Intern, you'll own the day-to-day of our social presence:
✅ Plan and manage our content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube
✅ Reach out to micro-influencers (1,000+ followers) in the language-learning space — templates and playbooks provided
✅ Engage with our community: replies, comments, DMs
✅ Track what works in a simple spreadsheet and help us double down on it
No bots, no automation — authentic, human social media only.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✅ You live on Instagram / TikTok / X / YouTube anyway
✅ You write natural, friendly English (other languages are a plus)
✅ Running your own account (any size) is a big plus
✅ No formal marketing experience needed — we provide templates, target lists and playbooks

📍 100% remote — apply from anywhere
⏰ ~5–10 hours/week, on your own schedule
👥 2–3 openings
💰 Compensation discussed individually during selection
