Social Activism in favor of Humanitarian Services and Support of Underprivileged People of the Country

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal is a non-governmental organization that attempts to protect human rights at different stages or levels. The approaches the foundation employs alter as per the nature of its purposes, specificity, or the law; the long-term or short-term care; its regional, social, environmental, or general sense, and so on.

Jyot Jeet is a social activist who campaigns against the exploitation of natural resources and the conflicts related to disaster management, the environment, and human rights that arise from it. He works to expose their brutality and bring justice into the system by serving the needy people.

On 14th February 2021, the founder of SBS Foundation, Mr. Jitender Singh Shunty and Jyot Jeet (The Disaster Management Specialist & Chairperson of Disaster Management Cell at SBS), was presented with the Corona Warriors award at Indian Television Awards, Film City in Mumbai. The corona warrior award was presented to them for their immense humanitarian services during the covid-19 period.

Hearse Van, Blood Donation, Mortuary Box, Disaster Management, Ambulance, and Cremation are some of the noble works that the foundation tries to do to serve the underprivileged people of the country. SBS Foundation is an official observer of this system and continues its campaign to strengthen and effectively enforce the rules to ensure that people will no longer get ill-treatment from society and become a positive force for development.

One of Jyot jeet campaigns has addressed the global issue of ambulance services: to find a way for the ambulance as the general public doesn't seem to care much about it until the situation comes down on them. The campaigns have gained international coverage, and Jeet has managed to find a way to make people aware of its importance.

The campaigns are a method that has worked very well for Jyot Jeet during his study tenure at Coventry University, West Midlands. People and organizations helped him succeed in his very well-known campaigns of #AmbulanceFirst and #ReserveLane4Ambulance.

National actors often participate in campaigns and activities to achieve policy change with the foundation. But, again, there are various methods an NGO seeks to utilize, the most relevant one, taking into report the purposes it has in understanding, the nature of the society, and, of course, its available reserves.

Street actions or demonstrations with the media coverage that often attract can be used when organizations want to contribute something in the eyes of the public opinion to present more reliable service for the betterment of the people. Jeet has done something similar through his Facebook Live broadcast and tried to lower the pain of common citizens treated badly during the second of covid-19.

It is well-known that the media plays a vital role and the reporting of Jyot jeet presented human rights to give the NGO's perspective on the real situation of the enforcement in the country. In addition to demonstrations of public support, the foundation has also participated in meetings with officials.

The greater the support of public opinion and other influential actors, the more likely it is that a campaign will achieve its objectives. Although they do not perpetually use this uninterrupted aid service, the foundations can assure that their report is discovered solely by affirming that a large popular campaign could prepare a help-aid against the violation of the underprivileged people of the country.
