"Simon, my name is Simon", the snake said in a warm and friendly
voice.

"Su... Sus... Susan", Susan mumbled.A talking snake? She couldn't
believe
it.

"I'm going to eat you.", Simon replied.

"Eat me?", Susan laughed, "C'mon, this is some kind of stupid joke."

Susan wasn't scared anymore.This had to be some joke.Maybe the work

  “Hey, what’s that?” The boy said to himself as he saw something out in the distance. The sky was dark grey and there was no sun, making it hard to see exactly what it was, plus the snow wasn’t making it much easier either. He shrugged and decided to walk closer towards it.
  As he got closer, he saw that it was a log cabin like house. The walls weren’t flat, but instead look like a bunch of logs facing horizontally and stacked on eachother. The young boy sighed with relief, hoping that whoever the person was inside would take him in and away from her mom. He began to walk towards the house, noticing that it was pretty far away. He sighed, this time with impatience. “This is going to take a little bit of walking.”
  After about 2 minutes of walking, he finally made it to the house and was at the door. The door looked very much brand new, having a beautiful tree design carve in on the front of it. There were also blue tinted light on the sides near the door, also looking new. Even with the welcoming looking house, the boy hesitated about who the person inside was like. Would they be nice? Mean? Who knew. But as he knew, you never know unless you try. He knocked on the door.
  It took a few seconds, but then the door opened and standing at the doorway as well was a large, green snake, being much taller then the boy was. She had a white underbelly and there was a scratch mark near her nose, looking almost as if it happened a few hours ago. Her body was about the width from side to side as the boy. She looked at him, shocked to see that he was outside in the cold.
  “Oh, why hello there,” The snake said in a welcoming tone, her mouth changing from a shocked expression to a warm smile. The boy still looked at her, still shocked.
  “Oh, hey,” He said, smiling nervously and rubbing the back of his head. “S-sorry, I wasn’t expecting to be greeted by a snake larger than I am,”
  “Don’t worry, I didn’t think you would,” She said, turning back to go into the house. “Come on in. It’s too cold out there for you,” She let the boy walk in before she shut the door. He was greeted with such warmth that it almost forced him to take off his winter cloths. The house was much larger on the inside. There was a large bed in the top left corner of the room, the pillows leaning against the farthest wall. There were two bookcases in the top right corner, one leaning against the back wall and one leaning against the wall to his right. There was also a outlet to the left of the door, where what looked like a large heat lamp was, and because it was on, it filled the room with a yellowish tint.
  “Wow,” The boy said as he took off his gear, leaving him in only his long shirt and sweat pants. “This looks amazing!”
  The snake giggled. “Thank you, I did build it myself,” She then goes and lays on the bed, laying like she was a coiled up hose. “So tell me, why were you out there all alone?”
  The kid looked at her before sighing. “I wanted to get away from my mom. All she does is sit on the bed and watch television all day,” He walked over to the bed and sat down on the ground, resting his back up against it and facing away from the snake. “I’m surprised that she even had the money to pay for me.”
  “So… You ran away?” She asked, still a little confused on the whole situation.
  “You could say that. That’s why I knocked on your door,” He decied to climb up onto the bed, as laying against the side was killing his back. The snake looked away for a moment while rubbing her head, not really knowing what to say.
  “Well… You could always live with me,” She asked with a nervous smile, turning her attention back at the boy. He looked at her, surprised.
  “Wait… You would do that for me?”
  “Of course I would. It does get lonely here so-” She was cut off when she felt the boy lean against her, his eyes closed as he smiles.
  “T-t-thank you so much…” He said as he continued to lean against her. The snake smiled down at him as well before taking him into her coils.
  “You’re welcome, sweetie,” She nuzzles his cheek with her own. The boy then again noticed the scar like scratch on her nose area and looked at it.
  “H-hey, um, what’s with the scar you have there?” He asked, looking at it.
  “Hmmm, are you sure there is one?” She asked. This caused the boy to bring his face closer to her mouth, looking at it. She smiled before she opened her mouth wide and engulfed the young boy into darkness as she started to swallow him. The boy was paralyzed with fear as he felt the warm, wet, fleshy walls of her gullet pulsate around him and push him deeper into the snake's body.   “Hey, hey, calm down little guy,” She said in a soothing tone. “I’m not going to hurt you.”
  “Y-yeah right… I-I’m just f-food to you…” He curled up into a ball, still sobbing. “S-someone… Help me…”

  The boy took about half a minute to respond. “Y-y-you’re… Going to let me live?...”

  “So, back to that question, I don’t want to talk about why I got the scar, but I do need to ask you something.”
