SmartBot Development Contest Rules

1. General Information

1.1. The contest is organized by BB (Bots.Business) to promote activity among administrators and showcase the potential of the SmartBot technology.

1.2. Contest Dates:

• Start Date: 17.01.2025
• Submission Deadline: 5.02.2025
• Winners Announcement: 10.02.2025
• 1.3. Prize Pool:
• 1st Place: $150
• 2nd Place: $100
• 3rd Place: $50
• 1.4. Winners will be selected by the BB team based on the criteria outlined below.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The contest is open to all registered users of the BB platform (referred to as "Participants").

2.2. Participation is free.

2.3. Each participant can submit multiple bots, but can only win one prize (the highest-ranked submission).

3. Requirements for Contest Submissions

3.1. The bot must be built using the SmartBot technology.

• 3.2. The bot must have its source code:
• Published on GitHub with public access.
• Include a README.md file with a description of the bot, its functions, and instructions for setup.
• 3.3. Participants can create:
• Unique bots (built from scratch).
• Modified bots (existing demo bots from the BB Bot Store improved or repurposed).
• 3.4. The bot must demonstrate functionality and meet at least one of the following:
• Utility: Automation tools, admin assistants, task managers, etc.
• Creativity: Games, interactive features, or educational/entertainment bots and etc.
• 3.5. The bot should be free of critical bugs and function as intended.

4. How to Participate

4.1. Fill out the application form:

• 4.2. Provide the following information:
• Your email, BB platform username
• Bot name
• GitHub link to your bot.
• Description of your bot and its functionality.
• 4.3. Submissions are accepted until 5.02.2025. Late submissions will not be considered. Incorrect submissions will not be considered

5. Judging Criteria

5.1. Submissions will be reviewed by the BB Team and evaluated based on:

• Smart Bot: it is must be Smart Bot
• Innovation: Originality and creativity of the idea.
• Execution Quality: Code quality, absence of bugs, and optimization.
• Usefulness: Practicality and applicability of the bot.
• Complexity: Depth of functionality and technical skill demonstrated.
• Creativity: Unique and engaging features or design.
• 5.2. The decision of the judges is final and cannot be appealed.

6. Prizes

6.1. Winners will receive the following cash prizes:

• 1st Place: $150
• 2nd Place: $100
• 3rd Place: $50
• 6.2. Prizes will be sent to winners within 14 days of the winners’ announcement.
• 6.3. Winning bots may be (or not) featured in the BB Bot Store and promoted as examples (the winner’s consent is not required).

7. Additional Terms

7.1. By participating in the contest, participants agree to:

• The public use of their bot as a demo by BB.
• Compliance with all contest rules.
• 7.2. The organizer reserves the right to:
• Amend the contest rules at any time.
• Disqualify participants for rule violations or infringing on third-party rights.
• 7.3. Bots submitted to the contest remain the intellectual property of their creators. However, by submitting, participants grant BB the right to use the bots for demonstration purposes.
