Decorating small spaces and succeeding in doing it means to be really creative and to have great practical ideas. Ideas as we all know, rule the word. In addition, necessity is the mother of all creation. Your ingenuity is a veritable and inevitable catalyst, on which your success with designing that small space of yours largely depends on. Here is a set of space saving furniture for teen rooms from Italian maker Clei.
The summary is not to purchase oversized furniture but not very small either – just the perfect size for the owner of the room, but the trick is to arrange it so as to be practical and save space. That is why it is highly recommended for these rooms to have the storage place high on the walls in order to offer more space on the floor. So go for the suspended shelves where you can store just about everything with a little creativity.
Then try to hide the furniture that you do not need during the day – like the bed. Teen will love hiding their bed under the wardrobe for example, so arrange a special place for this. Well, you will find out more by following the link and get inspiration from the best.

Problems can arise when two kids who share a small bedroom become privacy-seeking teenagers. A room that caters to your teens’ sense of style and allows some “alone time” is a space that they can not only live with, but also appreciate. In a few easy steps, turn your teens’ room into a stylish retreat with defined spaces.
Choosing a single color to satisfy both teenagers may be impossible, so let each teen choose a color for the two walls on her side of the room. Contrasting powder blue and electric blue or complementary orange and purple, for example, show separation and visual harmony. If one teen prefers wallpaper, let the other pull a paint color from the paper for his walls. Painting is easier than hanging wallpaper, but if you’re opting out of either option, hang lightweight faux silk or tulle from floor to ceiling for color, visual warmth, texture and separation.
White drapery or blinds over the window cast a natural glow throughout a space -- a plus when your teens read or study in the room. Curtains, however, aren’t just for the windows. Run a rod or rope from wall to wall near the ceiling between the beds for an easy curtain-style room divider. A folding screen provides an even easier way to divvy up space and offer some privacy.
If your kids have outgrown the idea of a bunk bed, twin beds are the obvious compact option -- and a simpler alternative to fold-out wall beds. But rather than a headboard and bedside tables, white, open shelving or cube-style bookshelves supply maximum storage and visual openness. Color-complementary rattan baskets are handy for the little things, and under-bed bins keep shoes, sporting equipment or seasonal clothing out of sight. If space allows, a small table and two chairs take the place of separate desks, but you may have space to carve a study-niche-for-two from a closet. Two teenagers can share one dresser with an even number of drawers, but a pair of matching bedside tables pushed together are easier to split up when they move out or leave for college.
Your teens will likely help you choose their accessories, but suggest a minimalist approach; minimal contents make small rooms appear less crowded or cramped. Simply hanging a couple of mirrors on the walls can visually stretch tight quarters and add brightness by bouncing light. Accessorize with a small, wall-mounting or shelf-clamping lamp over each bed, posters or decals on the ceiling to account for the lack of wall space, and a few ornaments and cushions in colors that complement or pop against the walls, such as aqua off yellow walls or black off white or silver. By allowing your teens to do as much of the budgeting, shopping and decorating as they can handle, you simultaneously make the job easier on yourself and give them a nudge toward adulthood.
