Okay, not technically my stepdaughter, her mom and I have been living together for about 4 months now. I have a younger daughter (6) and the stepdaughter is 16.
I know that this girl has had a rough past (father issues) and discussing her behavior with her mom has been a nightmare in the past. Her mom does not like to talk about any solutions and becomes defensive and closed off if I try to bring it up. She doesn't do anything to try and curb the behavior though.
