I know there are a lot of stories out there from gurls who have liberated panties from neighbors, sisters, girlfriends, laundry rooms, etc. and those are great stories but those of us who truly appreciate the beauty and feel of the most sensual and sexy of the lingerie family, the slip, must have some amazing stories of purloined beauties? --- When did you "borrow" your first slip from a neighbor, or girlfriend? Borrowed my first slip it was a gray half slip in my mothers drawer so nice, I wore it felt so good. I wore that slip a few times when I could, I also liberated her nylon panties they were nice also. I was very young when I did this. It felt so good you always remember your first slip wearing experience oh I do indeed!!!

Hi am new to the group my first slip was my mothers it was a red half slip with matching Cami , i love the look of it and just had to try it on, it felf so wonderful to wear

First satin slip that I took possession of was my gf's in high school. First chance I had when I was hanging out at her house I raided her panty drawer and found a great satin slip (as well as some panties and pantyhose). I still wear it now over ten years later!

Mom's silky white nylon 1/2 slip from JC Penney's I believe it was not shiny nylon but opaque with a flower embroidered on the hem,late 60's early 70's era I was 11 and it was in 1980.

My first was one of my mothers full white nylon slips which was absolutely heavenly. I was 11 or 12 at the time. Fortunately I was not very big and continued to wear my mothers clothes (not just slips) for many years to come.

I can't remember if it was my very first but my mother had an early 60's Shadowline matching bra, slip and panty set in red that I ended up wearing more than she did. (I'm more of a girly-girl than she is) The slip has mini pleats on the cups and hem and the bra also had mini pleats on the cups. Not sure what became of the bra and panties but I 'rescued' the slip from being thrown out and still have it in my collection 45 years later.
Update: The slip I got from my mother was too small for me anymore and I was not wearing due to the lace getting damaged. I found a match in my current size and in near perfect condition on eBay. I just posted a few pictures of me wearing it to the group pool.

My first slip was my friend's mother's in the late 60's when I was about 16. I used to go into their bathroom and raid the airing cupboard. It was double layer blue nylon lace all over and there was a pair of matching panties that I also liberated. Of course she knew, because although she didn't say anything she gave me some knowing looks. It went in a purge I had at University, which I always regretted. But I've made up for it since and now have many more slips than my wife.

Great topic!!! Early 1970's started with older sisters lace trimmed nylon panties, then discovered slips. After that it was all up hill. Mom and lots of slips and I wore them all. One that stands out was a VF ivory half slip with tan lace, OMG gorgeous. Then I found some neighbors things. One in particular a chocolate brown VF full slip with ivory lace. I flat out stole that and took it home with me. Sure, I got caught a few times, but it was worth it!!! Still have a great collection of gorgeous vintage slips!!!

I grew up in a house of only women my mother, grandmother and two aunts and they all worked so I was alone a lot of the time. I was about seven and went into my aunt’s room for some reason and I brushed against one of her satin robes and got a real good feeling through me. I took off all of my clothes and took a pair of pink satin tap panties and put them on then a cream color satin slip and it was immediate I was so hooked I pranced around the room in this slip and panties and every move felt wonderful. I would sneak home from school every day at lunch period and wear dresses, skirts and blouses and even gowns but always with a slip and panties. Of course I was caught many times and my mother was not happy about my antics. But as you can see from my pics a pretty slip is the most essential piece of clothing under all of my outfits.

My first purchase was a long waist slip from Dorothy Perkins, 1.5" lace at the hem. Also got tie-sided white lace panties and a white lacy front fastening bra.

Hello,
Circumstances, when I was gowing up in the fifties & early sixties, meant that I spent a lot of time in our neighbours home. Their daughter Shirley, was the same age as me. We were both from business families, spending a lot of time away from home & even shared a 'daily' cleaner. When I was about twelve, I copied the keys that belonged to the cleaner, which gave me free & full access to Shirley's home when they were away, which was for weeks on end in the summer & holiday times. I was able to almost live in their beautiful home for days on end, if my parents were away at the same time. I had to be careful for when the cleaner came to check, there were plenty of places for me to hide & escape routes if needed. As far as I know, I was never caught os even suspected. I never touched Shirley's new clothes, I just concentrated on her oldest school uniforms.
We were "well-off" families, with the luxury of washing machines, even in those days, which I became very skilled at using when needed. I will continue in a separate post, as I want you to enjoy these memories, as much as I am in telling you.

I was a very timid child, small & with a soft rounded face, but I became much bolder when I was dressed as Shirley. I kept out of trouble and was ok at school. My enjoyment of dressing up as Shirley lasted right until I went to Uni. I did keep a standby set of her clothes of hers in my home for the times when they were needed. Her parents were heavily involved with a holiday camp in the west country, so she was usually with them on a free holiday kind of thing. Both of our homes backed onto a school & park land, which gave me the easiest routes in & out without being out of place from too many prying eyes. Her mum was a very nice lady too & I did wear some of her underwear now & again. She even had wigs & I will post a picture that I was able to record using an old folding camera with a clockwork drive add-on. It was only black & white & very grainy, but it is of me at age fourteen wearing one of her wigs. Now you might see why I am Shirley now & have been full time since my age of twenty six. Now in my middle sixties, I would not change a thing. The real Shirley now knows about my history, & we meet up now often. She wishes that her adult life had been as happy as mine, the pretend Shirley. That is the one thing that I wish that I could have changed for her.

I started wearing my mother's slips and underwear from an early age. We lived in a relatively poor area of north London but within our court of flats I was the only teenager and as such I used to run errands for most of my neighbours. My favourite job was to water my neighbours' flowers while they were on holiday which gave me uninterrupted access to the underwear and shoes of a whole host of ladies ranging from 30 to 70. I could lose myself for hours tending to my chores!

When I was a teenager I started hanging around with a particular class mate and we used to spend our school holidays trawling through his father's porn collection. One day he suggested we copy the acts in the pictures and I guess I was easily led but when he asked me to wear his mother's slips and panties I jumped at the chance. A misspent youth indeed.

My Mom had a black lace bra and a silky older nylon slip that I would get into anytime my parents were away. Mom also had a pair of sheer-to-the waist pantyhose that were soo delightfully sheer! I often had to wash them after wearing, but folded them perfectly when I put them back. She also had a few pair of hiheels that fit me perfectly. One pair in particular was a spike heel slingback pumps, all in clear acrylic, with a rose flower imprint over the vamp. I also liked to wear another pair of her black velvet strappy sandals with a 3" blocky heel, covered all in black velvet. Oh, the memories!
40+ years later, I still love lacey black slips, pantyhose and hiheels, and wear them often, especially my pantyhose on cold days under my slacks.

As child 10-12 year i was walking our neighbor's dog every day, and had this done, I used to wear the lady's nightgowns, and sometime I also dress complete in her lingerie, bra, girdles and so on, but mostly in her wonderful old fashion charmeuse nightgown, which I borrowed from her bed, and I like to wear them while they are in use, really floor lenght for me at that time. And sometimes something happens which schouldn't, but it just came.

How did so few of you ever get caught. How could Mom not notice her red slip and cami were no longer in her drawer? I too visited all the opportunities mentioned here, I found most women were very careful of their lingerie, folded just so, slip straps placed just so, making it near impossible to put things back as they were, a dead giveaway that their drawer had been explored. And who might have had access to the bedroom to do the prowling? Oh, it only could be that boy who watered the plants, I'll have to have a word with his Mother........

However, silk scarves proved to be another thing.....:))

The fist slip I wore was my little sisters petticoat around house when no one was home .The first slip I took was from neighbor behind us as kids .I kept the slip hid in jar in woods .I would go out there and get it when no one home and wear it in house but when family home would go to woods and put it on wow it felt so good .took full slip from neighbor who was moving it was yellow .My mom asked me if I took it and told her no hadn't seen it .But she didn't find it so could not say I took it .I've taken slips and nighties and even panties off clothes lines for years and even from girls at school in band .Now I just buy them on ebay or other places and have sent to me .I even ended up with slips nighties from house I moved into when owners got rid of clothes .I offered to take to good will for them but first had to see what was there I could use .

We lived in an apartment house in Manhattan that had a laundry room with clotheslines in the basement. the basements of adjoining buildings were connected so you could walk through from one to another. You can guess how far back this goes. I used to walk through on the way home form school and if the coast was clear i grab a pair of panties, a bra, girdle, or the prize, a slip. Never more than one item. I built up quite a collection and with the help of my twin sister would wear things around our apartment until our mother got home. Eventually my sister grew into some of my things and it got a bit contentious because what I had was a sexier than what she had. Once you experience the feel of lingerie there's no going back and I was hooked for life. Like I always say:" There are no former cross dressers".

Yes I wore my neighbor ladies slips, petticoats and dresses. I was taking care of their dog while they were on vacation for two weeks. I was in heaven everyday until they returned.
I also had a neighbor stop by one day when I was playing sick and she wanted me to watch her baby while she ran to the bank. She knocked and I opened the door in my petticoat and skirt. She giggled a little. I told her I would change, but she said to come as I was. I was a girly baby sitter for a few hours, so nice

I draw the line at stealing anything but in 1985 spent the summer house sitting my friends mothers house and I wore every one of her slips petticoats panties and dresses. She was a stern woman and would have been furious if she’d known who rumpled her intimates!!!

My wife and I lived in my Mother in Law's house for about 8 months while we were searching for a new home for ourselves. My MiL had a vanity that she kept her lingerie in. She had a few beautiful slips stored in it and a cute little panty girdle that I really liked. I tried on the slips and girdle and eventually bought a match to her girdle for myself as I liked it so much.
Years later she moved out of the house and into a small apartment which had no room for the vanity. I was able to get the vanity (but none of it's contents) and I now use it to do my makeup and store my lingerie in.

Had to dog-sit for a family who went on vacation when I was a kid. Every chance I got, I was wearing the mom’s slips. I carefully studied the way they were folded, and tried to put them back as close to how I found them as possible. Did this several summers in a row.
There was also a teacher in my grade school whose slips were constantly on show. Guessing from what I know now, she wore only the best- Vanity Fair, Vassarette, Gossard Artemis, etc.
I often used to daydream about what it would be like to have access to her lingerie drawer.
