I've always wondered how Slade and Starfire would interact if given the chance to be alone together. We've gotten a glance of him doing so with most of the other titans, so I'm curious on what exactly he'd attempt to manipulate Starfire about.
Starfire wants to help Robin, but he commands her to instead find the detonator. Starfire reluctantly flies in pursuit of Slade's minion as he starts the engine and drives away. Starfire carries Cyborg, and she, Raven and Beast Boy (in falcon form) proceed flying after the speedboat.
Slade, pretending to be Joseph, reports in and says he and the Doom Patrol captured Starfire, killed Raven and are sterilizing the area before bringing Starfire in. Caulder greets them all wearing "the Robotman", an exoskeleton that allows him to walk.
Anger: Slade's apparent return drives Robin into a such a rage-filled frenzy to the point of hurting Starfire when she seemingly lets Slade get away and threatening to severely harm his teammates if they get in his way.
Slade uses this distraction to escape, running past Starfire while she's concerned with Robin. Robin yells for her to stop Slade as he rises to his feet, but she cluelessly looks around and is unable to spot Slade at all.

What if Slade does smth that rly hurts Robin? This will definitely break Starfire and she might go after him for revenge and anger. Would make for a good storyline too-to see the kindest and most forgiving titan's dark side for personal reasons Reply reply More repliesMore replies lordnaarghul •

His main goal is to defeat the Titans, conquer Jump City, and quite possibly conquer the world. Slade's voice flowed around the room like a snake, like a suffocating fog. Slade himself still stood in the center of the room, blocking the last of the moonlight from penetrating, so that they stood in the dark. "You said I was worthless to you after I got captured by the Titans," Robin said. "The Titans believed that, didn't they?"

Slade took advantage of the Titans all staring, disbelieving, at what they had just witnessed. Slade tore open the box, pulled out a small silver instrument, and grabbed an unexpecting Starfire. It took her a moment to figure out what was happening; everything seemed like a blur.
Robin, Cyborg and Starfire are far more interesting characters than Terra, Slade and Beast Boy. Sure, the typical silliness was somewhat evident in the show, particularly whilst the Titans are driving in Cyborg's badass car. Raven is sick of Beast Boys jokes, Cyborg rants about his baby, Starfire is so adorably confused at the jokes and so on.
And after Cinderblock escapes from jail, Robin finally gets his answer when he sees Slade. Robin pursues Slade, fiercely determined to stop his nemesis once and for all.

In Slade's lair Starfire was trying to hurt Slade, but he kept dodging every punch and kick she made. She growled in frustration and asked/yelled "What did you do to my friends!" Robin asks why Starfire couldn't see Slade. The villain says that he is using cloaking technology. This time, Slade wants a fair fight. One-on-One. The two fight, Slade winning ...
Slade was great in this episode, and the only thing I really have a problem with is the ease that the Titans were able to defeat him at the end. Sure, he was completely surprised, but this might be detrimental to some of the dramatic tension in the long run, especially since they're probably going to want to bring Slade back. OHMYGOD OHMYGOD ...

Slade has had personal confrontations with Raven and BB, it would be nice to see Slade have personal confrontations with Cyborg and especially Starfire. Slade got personal with BB over Terra, so I could see the same for Slade getting personal with Starfire over Robin.

The rest of the Titans and Slade throw this at Robin when he is exposed as Red X. Starfire gives a very calm one to Robin after the team found out he's Red X.
