Switching your number to Skinny is easy, with our online process. Hassle free, 24/7 and in the comfort of your home, or whatever suits. To get started, pick a plan and choose to switch your current number to Skinny. Your new Skinny SIM will automatically be added to the cart. You’ll be good to go in minutes.
We’ll send out your new Skinny SIM in the mail and this will usually take 1-3 working days. Once you’ve received your Skinny mail, just activate the Skinny SIM inside your mobile phone, and your number transfer will begin. Boom! Within 3 hours depending on the time of day during business hours (Monday to Friday 8.00am to 8.00pm), you’ll be done and dusted.
At times the process may carry over in to the following day if for example your transfer begins at 7pm on a Tuesday it will complete sometime after 8am on the Wednesday.

Good news! Most phones will work on Skinny, provided they’re compatible with the network. If you got your phone from Skinny or Spark it'll work fine. If not, you will need to do a quick check to make sure your phone is compatible.

If you are on an Endless Data Plan, $9 Plan, or Weekly Plans, you will still receive this porting bonus. However, to use the bonus rollover data you will need to move to one of Skinny’s Rollover plans. Your bonus rollover data will sit in our account for 12 months, unless used prior.

If you are current Skinny broadband customer you can still claim this offer: if you are new to Skinny mobile.
It will take approximately 3 hours on any given business day (Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 8.00pm) to bring your number across from your previous provider to Skinny, as long as all your details are correct at time of porting, and there are no account issues with your provider.
You may be responsible for unlock fees, porting charges and/or early termination charges to your current telecommunications provider. There may be a delay if your number is ported from your previous provider late in the evening on any given business day, which means that the transfer may not complete until sometime after 8.00am the following business day.
Can I use my phone while I am waiting?
Yes - If you are using your new Skinny SIM, then you’ll receive a text telling you that your old number has been switched over to Skinny. 
Or you can continue to use your current (non-Skinny) SIM until you can no longer make or receive calls/texts or use your mobile data. When this happens the switch is complete and you can now pop your new Skinny SIM into your phone and your number will be there waiting
Rollover data expires in 12 months, unless used prior.

Bonus data of 5GB Rollover Data will usually take up to 1 hour or less to be applied to your plan. In some cases, this may take up to 1-3 working days to be applied. You must be on a Skinny mobile rollover plan to use your bonus data. Data is a one off bonus.
