My pants have gotten so loose on me at the waist, to the point that some were falling off. I scoured the internet to find something to fix this problem, without having to get them tailored. This was literally one of the only items I found that could potentially address this problem. I'll break my experience down into pros and cons.
Pros: 1) I like how it comes with four different colors. 2) It has two different cinch settings (basically 1-2 sizes down). 3) The plastic seems strong and sturdy. 3) It didn't leave an overly obvious indicator of where it was cinched (doesn't make the pants look super awkward).
Cons: 1) The instructions are very difficult to follow. I was confused and it took me a bit to figure it out. 2) The waistband tightener is visible, so it's best used if the plastic will either be camouflaged by your pants/skirt or if you're at least lightly tucking something out. 3) This did not work on my thicker jeans. They were simply too thick for this plastic.
All in all, it's not the perfect solution, but it's a good enough solution for some pants/skirts. Though the Skinny Clip does have some drawbacks, I can't think of a way where they could have made this invisible, or in a way that it would be able to hold thick pants without the Skinny Clip being bulky (and also then not working on thinner pants). I'm sure the inventors of this went through a lot of trial and error until they came up with this happy medium and I am thankful to them for coming up with this!

That works and no belt digging on. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because 1) it doesn't always old 2) not easy to clip (I can never remember which side to start, etc.), 3) thicker pants is harder to fold and clip, 4) doesn't work well on elastic waist pants like sweats because of the elasticity and thickness. But, it is the best waist "cincher" yet but not the end all. Maybe the second generation version will get closer to perfection (whenever that comes). I am going to try the Hollywood Hip Hugger next.

This product is a quick and inexpensive way to temporarily fix a waistband that’s too big. I have a pair of stretchy work pants that doesn’t have belt loops that fit everywhere perfectly except the huge waistband. Safety pins weren’t cutting it so I went on a search. These clips are inexpensive and seemed like they’d keep my pants from falling...which they totally did! I can’t even feel that they’re there.
I only have two minor complaints:
1. Cinch
I used two clips with medium thickness fabric - one on each hip - to reduce the amount of cinch for aesthetics. The side with two twists was noticeably bulkier than the side with only one, making it looked a little like I had a single larger love handle. LOL I used three the next time - one on each hip and one in the back center - which took care of the love handle thing but the third didn’t hold as well as the clips on my hips.
2. Using the Restroom
Taking my pants down to use the bathroom results in the clips dislodging, so they have to be redone each time I go. Annoying but tolerable.
I imagine they they wouldn’t work as well with thick fabric like denim but they really do the trick for my thin and medium fabric pants.

Question for the inventor/seller: Thank you so much for making this, but why isn't there a clear/transparent clip that would work with pants of any color? I don't own white pants, but I do have pants in gray, green, brown, etc. - colors that don't match the four clips that closely. I would have been happier with a clear clip instead of a white one, or even four clear clips and no opaque colored ones.
