Midland Red could boast having built a number of attractive garages especially those from the Sixties. A lot of the older ones had quite a bit of character but the most ugly must have been sixy bus garage at New Road in Kidderminster. It was a survivor though and lasted through First Midland Red days and I managed to get into this view of a Mercedes one soggy sunday.

From an year I have a blog about handmade and indipendent creativity on the Style.it (italian Conde Nast editions website).It's becoming very popular here and I got the chance of knowing so many wonderful people inside the italian handmade scene, which is quite new and little but growing every day.I've started doing lectures and workshops as pushing people to do things, getting them inspired and smiling, even in this terrible period we are living in... it's a thing I really believe in.I think it's the first time in my life I'm very happy in what I do in my job.Unluckly I still don't make a decent earning from it, but I'm optimistic (some times, more often I wake up at 5 am full of anxiety).

I was invited to this release of a Red-tailed Hawk that was found starving to death and ill 4 months ago. A wonderful woman from the Raptor Rescue Center has cared for it the past 4 months bringing it to optimum health for this release. There wasn't much time or prep for this capture...as soon as the hood came off it took to the air and never looked back...once again becoming the 'free bird' it was meant to be.
