Body-shaming has been given a bridal twist, with a woman banning her sister from her wedding party because her breasts were 'too big'.
Sharing her ordeal on Reddit, the 14-year-old says she was initially asked to be a bridesmaid for the September wedding.
"I was very excited, I've never been in a wedding so this is a new experience," she writes.
During the dress selection process, the bride-to-be and her bridesmaids - including her little sister, one of their cousins and the bride's best friend - went shopping together and settled on a pink and red ruffled gown.
Trying on the dress, the three bridesmaids walked out of the change rooms to show the bride.
"My sister looks at me and her face just freezes," the anonymous Redditor writes.
The bride-to-be gave her sister the silent treatment before taking her into the dress shop's bathroom to talk.
"Your boobs look huge," she told her, much to her horror and discomfort. The teenager recalls asking, "What do you want me to do about it?"
The situation escalated when the bride-to-be informed her sister she couldn't wear the bridesmaid dress because she thought she would upstage her.
"I don't want any attention straying away from me and my fiancé," the bride-to-be told her sister, adding: "I'm sorry but you can't be my bridesmaid."
Heartbroken, the younger sister informed the other bridesmaids of the altercation before bursting into tears and asking her stepmother to pick her up.
"I was really looking forward to being by my sister's side while she gets married, and I'm also very hurt," she writes.
The other bridesmaids sided with the girl, refusing to be in the bridal party until the bride-to-be apologised for her actions.
Though a simple apology could have salvaged the sisterhood, the bride instead responded with a searing message.
"My sister texted me and said that I've ruined her wedding," the Redditor adds.
Users were quick to jump to the teenager's defence, with the Reddit post racking up over 900 comments that widely agreed the bride was "selfish."
"It's sad and disturbing that your sister thinks her 14 year old sister's boobs are going to distract the guests," writes one user.
"This sister isn't just a bridezilla, she's hella insecure if she thinks a 14 year old is going to steal the spotlight from her own wedding," says another.
One concerned user wants to know how the bride-to-be will react to the rest of her guests' outfits.
"Does she just expect everyone who goes to the wedding to look worse than her?"
