A company based in California has met the needs of transgender individuals who are anxious to experience monthly visits from Aunt Flow.
The Sappho-Luxe company has designed a special tampon called "Fem-Flo" specifically for post-op trannies who had their junk chopped off and replaced with a hot pocket (artificial vagina).
The tampons are available in 3 sizes to fit new post-op trannies as well as trannies who are fully dilated and want to experience a heavy monthly flow.
Each tampon contains small vegetable-based capsules that react to body temperature to slowly release menses (blood).
The fluid also helps to keep the artificial vaginas conditioned and dilated after surgery.
"We are hoping to bring each trans-woman closer to the full female experience and diminish body dysmorphia triggers altogether," said company founder, Cheryl Goldsmith.
“Fem-Flo Petite” is for the trans-woman who is still working to achieve maximum dilation, yet still wants to produce menses. “Fem-Flo Intermediate” provides dilation and an average amount of menstruation. And last, but not least, the “Fem-Flo Lush” for the trans-woman who wishes to enjoy “heavy” menstruation. "Our product is designed to give post-op trans-gender women the full-spectrum experience of menstruation. You don’t have to be deprived of the beautiful and womanly occurrence of menstruation merely because you were born without uterus."
The Fem-Flo tampons will be available nationwide in most major grocery stores next month.

Origins:   On 6 July 2015, the web site United Media Publishing posted an article titled “First Tampon for Transgender Women to Hit Shelves Next Month,” reporting that a California-based company had “released the first tampon for post-op transgender women” in order “to bring each trans-woman closer to the full female experience and diminish body dysmorphia triggers altogether”:
“Our product is designed to give post-op trans-gender women the full-spectrum experience of menstruation. You don’t have to be deprived of the beautiful and womanly occurrence of menstruation merely because you were born without uterus. The Fem-Flo’s cotton core contains a small, vegetable-based capsule which upon reaching body temperature releases the “menses” contained within. It also aids in keeping the post-op canal conditioned and dilated after surgery and beyond.”
Although United Media Publishing ‘s web site doesn’t feature a disclaimer identifying its content as fake news, earlier articles from that outlet include a false claim that Charles Manson had died in prison and another fabricated story about Christian couples “ divorcing en masse ” in protest of same-sex marriage.
Interest in the transgender tampons claim peaked on 9 July 2015, when Twitter and Internet forum posters said that radio host Rush Limbaugh had discussed the article on his show. Some tweets suggested that Limbaugh was initially unaware of the article’s satirical nature, though no transcript of the portion of the show in question was available for review to document that assertion:

A Google search for “Sappho-Luxe” returned results solely for the original fake news article and content based upon it.

A couple threads re a sissy "period" but only a nod to safety. BTW - There are some excellent threads on this subject at ClubSissy.
First. There is a thing called toxic shock syndrome caused by tampons. It can kill you. It comes about by leaving a tampon in for too long a period of time. Some manufacturers state you should not leave it in for more than 8 hours. Please do not leave a tampon in overnight when you are sleeping. I am super safe and use a 4 hour cycle. I work at home and can insert at 9 AM, 1 PM, 5 PM and final extraction at 9 PM. Overnight I use a maxi pad. Have been doing this for years and never had a problem. If you have not tried this girls, I must tell you that few things will make you feel more feminine than looking down and seeing that string dangling between your legs. And feeling the tampon swell and knowing it is there can only be describes as "delicious".
Second, the anal canal does not have any natural lubrication. Insert a tampon "au natural" and it can dry and cause you problems. Several recommendations on clubsissy but I have found one that works for me and has "fringe" benefits. Make a mixture of one part olive/veggy oil, one part spicey V-8 and one part lemon juice. Add in chile powder to your tolerance. Start light and experiement. I hope you keep yourself clean with a douche. Pour the above mixture into an empty douche bottle. Put a dab of something like KY at the entrance, insert the douche nozzle half way and give it a good squeeze. You now have good lubrication, extraction is easy and the tampon will have a color as though you were a GG. I also put a few drops of Astroglide on the tip of the tampon prior to insertion. If you want to feel "real" womanly you must try this. Sounds complicated and a lot of bother but once you do it, you will see how easy it is. Some GGs curse about the "curse" because of cramps/discomfort caused by hormone disruption, etc. We sissies do not have that experience and can enjoy our monthlies as a female "treat".
Lots of talk about "timing". This works for me and may, or not work for you. My calendar is marked with a red 'M' every 28 days. That is the start of my period at 9AM that morning. It ends 5 days later at 5 PM. I am in and out of chastity but during that 5 days I am in chastity 100%. I am not allowed sex of any kind. I gotta tell ya, after 5 days of constant attention to my pussy and no sex, I am the horniest gurl on the planet.
Please give menstruation a try. There are all kinds of things we do to enhance our femininity but having a "period" has got to be near the top of the list.
