You might have heard of The Sims 4’s Wicked Whims mod . It’s been getting quite a bit of attention since its release due to its nature. And by that, I mean it’s an incredibly explicit sex mod for The Sims 4 … of course.
As is always the case, however, The Sims 4 Wicked Whims requires you to download and install the mod before you’ll be able to get up to all your freaky Sims sex-related business. Down below, we’ll talk you through the stages of downloading, installing, and using Sims 4’s Wicked Whims mod.
The first thing you’re going to need to do is make sure that your version of The Sims 4 supports the Wicked Whims mod. We’ve included all supported versions down below:
3. This is done by right clicking on the archive file and selecting the ‘Extract Here…’ option. You should now have a folder called ‘WickedWhimsMod.’ Inside this, you should have two files:
Before you complete this step, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve at least started up The Sims 4 on your PC once. If you haven’t, The Sims 4 folder that we’re looking for won’t exist.
You’ll need to find the folder for The Sims 4 Mods. EA has made this particularly easy, as it can be found at the following file path by default: \Documents\Electronic Arts\ The Sims 4\ Mods.
Once you’ve located this file path, simply move the WickedWhimsMod folder that you extracted from the archive folder and paste it into the The Sims 4 Mods folder. Do not delete or move the ‘ Resource.cfg ’ file that should be in the mods folder, as this is required to allow mods to work.
Finally, all you need to do now is load up the game. Before you go and load your Sim family, however, you need to quickly dive into the Game Options menu.
From here, select the ‘Other’ menu and you should see the following options:
You want to enable both of these in order to use Sims 4’s Wicked Whims mod. This needs to be done every time the game is updated, as it will automatically disable these again.
Once this is done, simply exit and reopen the game and you’ll now have access to all of the dirty little gameplay features you can get your hands on. We’ve provided a few pointers on how t get started with some of the naughtiness below.
Once you’ve enabled the mod and loaded up your game, you’ll have a whole wealth of sex-related activities you can now get up to, outside of the usual woohoo, anyway. As we noted above, these are incredibly graphic, so you’ll be seeing human appendages left, right and center.
We’ll talk you through some very brief basics below, before leaving you to explore Wicked Whims are your own leisure.
The main part of this mod is to allow for a more graphic and robust sex and romance system in The Sims 4.
To make your Sims have sex, you’ll need to click on a sex location in the game. The most obvious one of these is a bed, but you can also select the ground… if you simply can’t wait to find something more comfortable.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to make sure there’s another Sim around the one you’ve chosen to interact with the ‘sex location.’ You’ll then need to choose your ‘sex category’ which then allows you to initiate the deed.
With your Sims going at it, you can then change position, or have a raucous ol’ time with other Sims by clicking on your two lovebirds and selecting the options.
You can get experimenting with Wicked Whims in a variety of ways, with new traits, a whole pregnancy system that includes birth control and a menstrual cycle mode, and a bunch of reactions for once the deed is done.

Has your Sim’s beloved partner passed away, but returned from the grave as a ghost? Well, good news! The suitably named ‘ Ghosts Can Have Babies! ‘ mod, means that… ghosts can have babies!
A human male can impregnate a ghost female, as can a ghost male, and a ghost male can also impregnate a human female. It’s worth noting, however, that the babies won’t be ghosts, as there’s not a ghost shader for babies in the game, since babies are unable to die.
This is a small price to pay, however, to keep your Sims’ relationship going even after one has gone to the spirit realm!
Wicked Whims has created a whole slew of interactions that you can make your Sims do that really change the woohoo game in The Sims 4. While only a few animations are available, this unlocks all the interactions and you can supplement this mod with other animation mods, which can bring the total to over 6,000 different animations.
It also includes sex traits like “Sexually alluring” and “Sexually abstinent” which will impact how often doing the woohoo happens. It also includes a menstrual cycle for women, making it more likely for your Sims to get pregnant at certain times of the day and throughout each month. A lot of time and detail has been put into making sure that this works properly, and it makes Wicked Whims one of the best Sims 4 sex mods as a result.

Get this mod if you want your Sims to be free birds, flowing through the wind, without a care for who they hurt. It makes it so that jealousy won’t be a thing anymore, and polyamory gets a lot easier to pull off in The Sims 4.
With this mod , you’ll be able to marry multiple Sims and get your own polygamous family going. Be sure to get the previous No Jealousy mod, too, to make the process leading up to it a lot easier for yourself.
The No Mosaic/Censor mod does exactly what it sounds like. It’ll remove the blurred/ censoring of your Sims when they’re naked. This includes when they’re in the shower, using the toilet, breastfeeding, streaking and more.
It won’t allows your Sims to be naked all the time, but it does get rid of that annoying blurring.
So many relationships nowadays are the result of dating apps like Tinder and Bumble, so it should come as no surprise that there’s now a Sims 4 dating app mod, called SimDa from LittleMsSam.
The SimDa app lets your Sims access an app on their phone to organize a date, blind date and a no-strings-attached encounter for those cheeky one night stands. All of these options will be with NPCs, too.

This mod will give your male Sims their anatomically correct parts. It works with teens through elders and is recommended for use with the sex animations (which are sure to become abundant in the future.
And there’s this one , as well. This is more like a skin, as seen in the photo. It looks very close to your Sim’s body, and it’s probably not as recommended for the animation mods. It’s realistic and hairy.
Finally, there’s this one in the same vein as the last one, except it’s shaven.

This mod makes it so that service Sims can live with you, allowing you to live out your “sexy Butler” dreams.

One of the strangest parts of The Sims 4’s woohoo-ing and having your Sims try for a baby is how almost every time, your Sims are going to succeed and get pregnant. The ‘ Less Success for Try for Baby ‘ mod brings some much-needed realism on this front into the game, by allowing you to set your own success % rates between 20%, 40% and 60%.

Or perhaps you'd like to – hypothetically – realize your wicked whims and fantasies, like some of us used to do with Barbie dolls (which also had no genitals by default, but modding them was trickier)? Wicked Whims will undoubtedly solve the first of these problems, and as for the second – you will sure find something for yourself.
The community's favorite allows, among others, orgies. The animations available here will considerably (I mean significantly ) diversify the visual experience. What can you expect? Well, my first instinct was to quickly alt-tab the game. To access this mod, you have to create an account on the mod's website. And then you can download all you want. Tell us afterwards if it was worth it.
With Wicked Whims , the characters you create will also be able to become naturists, and if you have the expansion The Sims 4: Get Together – also exhibitionists. And once you get down on it, you will also be free to do it pretty much anywhere: a car on an airplane? It's up to you. The floor? Not very inventive! A nightclub, a Swingers' club (again, you will need the aforementioned DLC), middle of the street, couches, sofas, tables, cabinets...
Installing the mod can cause problems with the love dart: it can get stuck, deform, start floating in the air, or lose its complexion. It could be gone too. Life's not easy.
Adult naptime no longer happens under the sheets, with oozing hearts. Wicked Whims will blow the cloud of pixels away from the Sims' most intimate areas , and what this reveals is... I still cannot forget that. I wanted to say "evocative of Adam and Eve," but do you know the bald guy? That's probably a better place to look for comparisons. The mod adds the ability to peep others, sweat, and secrete all sorts of bodily fluids, etc. The Sims can also enter polygamous and polyamorous relationships. And incestuous.
The female and maternal experience will also change. Contraception or a paid increase in fertility is not a problem. If you do not want to leave things to chance, the settings let you change the probability of pregnancy from 0 to 100%. Abortion? 1500 Simoleons and it's done. Can also be done using drugs (also introduced by this mod), about which you may read later on – called Basemental . Female characters hitherto leading blissful lives devoid of a menstrual cycle will now have one. Periods, altering fertility and infertility, stained underwear, discomfort – all that jazz. Including tampons and pads. As if periods weren't uncomfortable enough in the reality beyond the Sims.
