A common problem when creating a Sim in Sims 4 is actually creating the butt. It often happens that we stare at our Sims comfortably smiling in the CAS menu, completely oblivious of our struggles. Their butts are either too thin, too thick, too much up in the air… there is no end to it. But fortunately for us, there is a perfect butt slider mod that we can use to fix this issue!
A butt slider mod is an extension that lets us customize the butts of our Sims precisely as we want. It allows us to drag and extend the actual butt or reduce it by dragging the mouse in the opposite direction. And thanks to this, we can create much more realistic-looking butts in Sims 4.
Is the butt slider the best solution?
Honestly, yes! It’s much more customizable than the base tools we see in CAS. You’ll no longer have to choose between big and unrealistic butts and skinny robotic ones. Instead, you can create your own!
So, let’s jump into the actual butt slider tool and explain how it works!
Even though there are many different butt slider mods for The Sims 4 on the internet, the one that all of here at SnootySims are using is called Enhanced Butt Slider . We’ve used other ones in the past, but the Enhanced Butt Slider one has stayed the most consistent of all.
The Enhanced Butt Slider is a mod created by CmarNYC , who originally published it on ModTheSims back in 2018. Since then, the extension has been downloaded over 310,000 times , which really tells you the scope of its demand.
Like I mentioned above, you can simply drag your Sim’s butt around and make it exactly as you want. You can change the height of the butt, the length, and the shape!
The shape is really an advanced feature here since that is what makes the butt look actually realistic. So your Sims won’t all have the same boring semicircular shape of butts. Instead, you can create your own shape by dragging your mouse around!
That said, you have two versions included in the Enhanced Butt Slider mod:
It actually doesn’t matter which version you’re going to use. Both will improve the way you create your Sims’ butts. If you’re satisfied with the shape of your Sim’s butt and only need to adjust the height, then go for the first one. But if you want to create a unique shape as well as adjust the height, then go for the second version!
The butt slider mod is compatible with all known body and clothing mods for Sims 4. It doesn’t conflict with anything that you might use for altering your Sims 4. In fact, it works perfectly with all of our recommended Sims 4 body sliders mods , so you can use it with them too.
The only thing that could potentially stop the butt slider from working is an extension that changes the male and female butt hot stop controls. But these kinds of mods are rare.
And that’s all there is to know about the butt slider! You can use it alone or in combination with the other body sliders to create a unique Sim. But you can also use it alone if you only want to adjust your Sim’s butt. It’s very easy and simple to use, so I totally recommend it!
