MasterController gives you control of a lot of game mechanics. The mod contains tools for managing every Sim in your town manually. You can form relationships, customize households, and change your Sims’ job, etc. It also has different, optional modules such as Cheats, ExpandedTattoo, Integration, and Progression, all with unique features on their own.
This small handy The Sims 3 mod gives you the ability to tag certain Sims or groups, so you can find them a lot easier when they are not home. You can see their income, how much they are worth etc. too and all these make managing Sims in your town significantly easier.
StoryProgression is undoubtedly one of the best Sims 3 mods out there. It replaces the EA story progression system and provides a lot more story options and gives you an overall better progression system. It also has tons of different add-ons that contain specific scenarios to play with or expand certain areas such as career.

The base time it takes to cook is reduced in both single and group servings, there are less leftovers when your Sims do not finish their meal and their chance of cleaning up after themselves is set to %100 rather than %50. These changes makes the cooking & cleaning a lot more smoother.

I’ve always disliked the fact that sims head home after work and stay in their work attire, even if they head out again after that. With this pure scripting mod, they will change into their everyday clothes upon reaching home while wearing their work attire.

The ninjas will work Monday through Friday in the evening and they have different ranks corresponding to their belt color. The lowest being a white belt, and the highest being a black belt.

If you want a complete character mod, you’d probably prefer playing Sims 4 than Sims 3. But the Ultra Plain Eyes mod sticks to the aesthetic visuals of Sims 3 while making the eyes just look better. With reduced pupils and better-shaped eyes, the characters look less cartoony and just better!
This is a small change that makes a big difference in your characters. It’s nice to have non-dramatic mods that can slightly enhance and improve the existing vanilla features. This mod also comes with contact lens options for all characters, no bar for age or gender.
From the same creator as Ultra Plain Eyes, Ultra Plain Faces improves on the existing EA Vanilla animation, this time with character faces.
By adding fine textures and an overlay to all characters’ faces, this makes them seem more realistic and less cartoon-like. It also makes a massive improvement to the facial expressions that Sims characters make, much more subtle. The creator calls this ‘pudding-free shading’ referring to how the vanilla characters often look bloated in the face.
This mod works on all male and female characters of all ages (from toddlers to elders).
You can get bored of one location pretty quick in Sims 3, but the cost of traveling is too high. You lose all the relationships and progress that you made in the original location, and starting from scratch is an exhausting prospect.
With this traveler mod you have access to all the locations and you can easily visit them and lead parallel lives without losing out on the relationships in either place! It’s great for those who are building legacy sims but don’t want to fall asleep watching their sims live the same boring lives.

The Sims 3 is still a classic for PC and console, and there are certain mods that players must absolutely have to enjoy it to its fullest!
Though many devoted Sims players argue over which installment in the series was the best, in terms of both gameplay and the expansion packs that came along with it, almost every player can agree that the game would not be complete without the addition of custom content and mods.
Mods are downloaded codes and items made for an established game which gives players the ability to perform actions previously unavailable to them within the game. Since the Sims 4 has been a bit of a let down to date, many players have been flocking back to previous installments. And in spirit with that disappointment fueled nostalgia, this writer has compiled a list outlining some of the best mods for the third installment in the Sims series.

The game was a letdown in many ways after a title like The Sims 3 was released, which provided a ton of freedom and a massive open-world to explore.
At a time like this when The Sims 5 might just be in development and The Sims 4 has grown extremely stale, there's no better opportunity to go back to The Sims 3. That being said, even The Sims 3 has its flaws. Thankfully, the amazing modding community never lets down, which is why we've included five additional gameplay-changing mods.
Traits are really what make or break a Sim. Since people are complex creatures in real life as well, it helps with immersion to ensure that Sims also have as many traits as possible, in order to turn them into actual complex beings.
This mod allows exactly for that. It also helps by assigning more traits automatically to Sims that aren't currently being played. My increasing the maximum amount of traits available for a Sim regardless of age, the player is able to create a more diverse world.
