Simple Soft Chocochip Cookies Recipe.

Simple Soft Chocochip Cookies Recipe.

The Grand Duchess, Romanovna Sister.

Ingredients:

• 115 g butter

• 55 g brown sugar

• 75 g granulated sugar

• 1 large egg

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 200 g all-purpose flour

• 1/4 tsp salt

• 1/2 tsp baking soda

• Chocolate chips, as needed

Instructions:

1. Melt the butter first, but do not let it boil. Once the butter has completely melted, it is ready to use. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter. Beat with a mixer until well combined and slightly thickened.

2. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix on the lowest speed for about 10 seconds. There is no need to overmix. Gradually add the flour, then add the baking soda and salt. Mix with a spatula until all the ingredients are well combined.

3. If the dough is still too wet, gradually add a little more flour. The dough should be soft and no longer stick excessively to your hands. Add the chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.

4. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Shape the dough into large balls and gently flatten them slightly. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between each cookie. Bake for approximately 9 minutes.

5. Once the bottoms of the cookies are lightly browned and set, remove them from the oven immediately. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 30 minutes. The outside will firm up while the inside remains soft and chewy.

Notes:

One of the most important keys to making soft cookies is not overbaking them. They should be slightly underbaked when you take them out of the oven. If they are baked for too long, the cookies will become hard and crispy instead of soft and chewy.
