Tennis star Simona Halep has returned to competitive play after undergoing breast reduction surgery. The Romanian busted out at the 2008 French Open, where her large 34DD breasts attracted ample attention.
But Halep's bountiful chest caused "severe back pain," according to the Daily Mail , so she had her abundant breasts surgically resized in 2009.
Halep returned to the French Open this year with 34C breasts, but was defeated by Australian Samantha Stosur. Scroll down for before and after photos of Halep. How is her new look?

Simona Halep, 26, is world number one and is hoping to put Canadian Eugenie Bouchard to the sword tomorrow morning in the second round.
She easily beat Aussie Destanee Aiava in the first round in Melbourne yesterday.
The little Romanian owes her success to surgery on her 34DD breasts back when she was 17.
Halep went under the knife to reduce the size of her boobs to a more manageable 34C.
Since then she has not looked back and has rocketed around 500 places up the rankings – reaching number two in 2014.
And she finally reached number one in October last year.
When Halep won the junior French Open title in 2008 the 5ft 6ins player had a decision to make.
Her ample chest was causing her severe back pain and hampering her movement on court.
The 17-year-old decided to take several months out from the tour get the operation.
After resuming her career in just two years she was in the top 50.
Halep explained to reporters at the time: “It’s the weight that troubles me.
“My ability to react quickly, my breasts make me uncomfortable when I play.
“I don’t like them in my everyday life, either. I would have gone for surgery even if I hadn’t been a sportswoman.”
She has yet to win a Grand Slam but has reached the final of the French Open twice, including earlier last year.
Halep is widely considered to be the favourite for the Australian Open.

Romanian tennis player Simona Halep shocked her growing male fan base when she announced that she would be having breast reduction surgery because her 34DD breasts were causing her to have severe back pain and were affecting her performance on the court.
Despite a fan petition pleading for her to reconsider, Halep went through with the surgery, reducing her bra size to a more manageable 34C.
Halep addressed her fans’ concerns by explaining:

‘It’s the weight that troubles me. My ability to react quickly, my breasts make me uncomfortable when I play.
‘I don’t like them in my everyday life, either. I would have gone for surgery even if I hadn’t been a sportswoman.’
