Great question. You may want to look at the new Blizzard Hustle, which is a lighter and more playful build with similar dimensions. There are a good amount of similar skis that have less metal and are more playful. Here's a couple I would take a look at: Moment Wildcat, Faction Prodigy 2, Armada ARV, DPS Foundation 100 RP, 4FRNT Switch.

I guess we heard similar stuff about it. Hopefully I can let you know how it is at some point. Thank you for your input! I have determined that I probably need another ski solely dedicated to powder days if I want to be serious about powder skiing; but the ARV 100 will have to do for the rest of the season.
Due to the similar shapes and profiles, they both have similar turn radii and maneuverability. The addition of HRZN Tech in the Bent's tips and tails makes it slightly easier to release the edges and smear tight turns quickly. Intermediate-level skiers will find the Bent 100 more approachable due to the lighter, more user-friendly construction.
Are there any similar skis y'all can recommend that are similar in terms of underfoot width, weight, and overall design but maybe more durable/of higher quality? Does anyone have experience with both the Bent 100s and the DPS Pagoda 100 RPs?
What is similar to the Kore 99 in terms of all-around capability? Focus on aggressive, high-angle GS turns on groomers, with the ability to handle everything when needed.

It wouldn't hurt you to try and be kind and helpful instead of being a sassy little diva all the time. Rule #1 of this sub is "don't be an asshole." Try it out, see how it fits.
I demoed the Bents and the QST 98s last season. Personally didn't like the Bents, they weren't quite wet noodle like someone else said, and actually for their low weight thought they had ok stiffness. The problem I had is with the low weight and stiff combo I found them a little hooky and unpredictable in turns.

If you like the way they ski then the top sheet should be more or less irrelevant - but people don't tend to work that way. There is a new top sheet for the Black Pearl 88's next year which is still low key but may be an improvement for you.

I feel like you'll have those armadas for life since its a ski your never gonna outgrow. But for a more freeride feel maybe add the dynastar MFree to the lot hahaha, its quite surfy and will work in the park, maybe not rails. Its much softer than the armada too. Since your a big boy who enjoys charging I feel like you'd prefer a stiffer ski.

They ski similar to those bents but are stiffer, have better edge hold, and are honestly just a way better ski. If you want something more touring oriented the Black Crows Corvus Freebird could be a good option for you.
It was light, very low swing weight due to the air tips/tails, small turn radius, and surf-like nature made it a blast for me. Now that I'm actually looking to buy a new powder ski, of course they aren't selling the Soul 7 anymore haha.

Anyone have experience with "Hybrid" skis like the Altai Hok or Black Diamond Glidelite? These are short, wide skis that accept a lot of different bindings from "universal" that work with hiking boots up to a 3-pin or NNN-BC binding as well. They have metal edges and permanent skins on them.

I've considered Ripstick 96s as I've run Ripstick 106 Black Editions as my all mountain skis for a while and really like the performance on ice and figured he doesn't need something as fast or wide as the 106 Blacks. I've also looked at Enforcer 94s and M6 Mantras. Any one have any other recommendations?
