Upgrading to a modern system ensures that everything is covered under a valid warranty and that spare parts are readily available if a specific device gets damaged. Modern setups also offer advanced diagnostics, allowing technicians to pinpoint exact issues remotely rather than spending hours hunting down a physical wiring fault.
Major Building Renovations or Layout Changes
Safety systems are designed specifically for the layout and occupancy classification of a building at the time of installation. If you have recently renovated your space—whether that means knocking down walls to create an open-concept office or changing the primary use of a warehouse area—your current system is likely no longer adequate.
Adding walls alters the airflow of a building, meaning smoke might not reach an existing detector fast enough to trigger an early warning. Additionally, changing the use of a space might require different types of detection, such as swapping out standard smoke detectors for heat sensors in a newly built kitchen area.
